This movie spooked me out to get my act together before it's too late. The only other movie that had done that recently was Joker. It's scary living in this world. I guess it got better, but I wouldn't recommend becoming a waiter based on this movie.
It was a decent effort though. Once you got comfortable, there were hot girls. Same vibe as the first movie. Hooters makes an appearance. So does Andy Milonakis. Struggles of life and becoming a better person. Finding a woman etc.
Nice. Worth a watch some random night maybe.

As my summary title says it's definitely nowhere near close to all of the laughs an raunchiness of the first one,, The only recognizable name in this movie to me was Adam Corolla , and I'm not really a big fan of his. this movie had some laughs,, and a few raunchy moments,, but the idea that our main character had to make 9000 in sales on the last day before the fiscal period ended , was totally not a good storyline,, I thought maybe something like maybe a major restaurant critic coming by to review the food, would have been better storyline. I guess there was so much from the first movie that is missing from this one,, most of the actors/actresses from the 1st one are noticeably absent from this one,, gee I wonder why, all together I would have to say that I'm "still waiting" on a better sequel so folks you can go ahead and pass on this one.
Just imagine how much better it would've been if Ryan Reynolds was in the movie
Rarely is a sequel better than the original but this movie honestly wasn't as bad as the majority of reviewers claim. It's basically what you'd expect from a sequel to Waiting... I didn't even know the movie existed until today so I figured I'd give it a try. Compared to a movie like Neighbors 2, you'd think this movie was directed by Spielberg.
It should be law that sequels can only be made by the writers and directors of the original. A sure sign that a sequel is going to be bad is that none of the original main actors want to be in it. (see also Caddy Shack 2) The bit at the end with Justin Long was painful. He obviously didn't want to be there and he left his name off the credits because he was ashamed of the movie. Don't get me wrong, there are a few moments worth watching, like the bit with the busboy rapper. But for the most part it looks like it was written by someone who just didn't get what the first movie was all about.
