We meet Menekse and Halil who are in love with each other but can't be together because Menekse's family is very conservative and ambitious. Her father makes her marry a man who she doesn't even know. Menekse and Halil escape to Istanbul.

Halil finally arrives in Istanbul, at the same time as Menekse's brother and husband. Halil finds Menekse.

While Halil is on the funeral of one of his old friends, Kadir and Mustafa kidnap Menekse.

Halil rescues Menekse and they run away from Mustafa, but Mithat finds Zeynep and Halil.

The police is close to catch Mustafa. Menekse finally divorces. Halil asks Menekse's father for her daughter's hand and he says yes - Menekse and Halil finally get engaged.

Menekse and Halil kiss for the first time. Mustafa is furious when he finds out about Menekse's divorce.

Mustafa plans to crush Menekse and Halil's wedding, and Emine assists him.

With Emine's help, Mustafa gets to Menekse while Halil is in Ankara.
