A husband and wife work on the same team providing V.I.P. customers extra service for a prestigious store. One day she receives a text telling her that her husband is having an affair with another member of the team. As she investigates her fellow workers she unintentionally uncovers many of their dark secrets. A very well acted series which catalogues the breakdown of a relationship and the stages that the individual experiences whilst going through it. Even though earlier episodes are a little slow it is well worth a watch.
I am lost for words after watching this on what i feel about this drama. I really appreciate that this drama determined to stand out from what the usual infidelity dramas attempt to do with the revenge plots. Which is what made me frustrated watching through this as well, since i don't have anyone that i could definitively channel my hatred towards , seeing it unfolds on the premise that people aren't necessarily have to be bad to make the bad decisions that hurt others, sometimes the circumstances that spins out of control leads them to having hurt themselves and hurt others in the course.
This drama delivers excellent writing which had me wrestle with the discourse on most thought provoking philosophies , that i still couldn't decide what i would do unless i am in that situation, which is what most of the lead characters had to go through as well on the dilemmas,
It creates high points at end of each episodes and shows the characters in grey shade added with layers that a one dimensional good or bad.
Excellent cinematography and absolutely gorgeous camera work in most of the scenes shot outside and music held the tone and the tension of the drama throughout.
When it finally ended, i was thinking there is no way i could judge these people by just watching their lives, as each of them had to carry the scars and live with the consequences of what left of the precious life time.
On EP:16 when Ohn Yoo Ri cried in that popup bar, i reached for my third tissue as i was crying along with her and was really heartbroken on the fact how sad the situation was, despite the fat i despised and skeptical on her character felt like she could turn evil anytime in those previous episodes.
I would have felt satisfied it it was like a 20+ episode drama since it had potential to explore the character more example Lee Hyun Ah character could have been more vulnerable and romance scenes for that couple could have breathed a little more than with the rushed ended for them. She had the potential to have carried an entire separate drama as a lead.
All in all this is totally a worth watch that goes to show how unimaginably homewrecking , devastating and painful to be unfaithful to your spouse who chose to spend their entire precious life with their partners.
I judge kdrama on how many episodes I watch continuously ...this one passed the test because I smashed it in 2 sittings only separated because it was one in the morning and I couldn't keep my eyes open!!
Very interesting topic of when one person falls out of love while the other hasn't...the emotions from confusion to sadness to wanting revenge was well portrayed.by lead jang na ra and a shout out to the cold but vulnerable lee Chung ah both done well.
I thought the end was well done and quite emotional a mixed bag for everyone.
One more thing whenever I watch a kdrama I seem to get smitten with one cast member,in Penthouse it was the angelic lee ji ah,in reflection of you it was the beautiful go Hyun-jung, in VIP it was the lovely kwak sun young, she played the working mum on the verge of a breakdown brilliantly and I always felt for her character.
All in all a very enjoyable emotional kdrama highly recommended.

Awesomely crafted south korean drama presented in a pithy way .
This show is both curious and irritating at the same time. The plot develops slowly and in a tiresome way. The characters and their dramatic dilemmas are part of the show, but it's all boring and some characters are extremely inexpressive and irritating. Mr. Park is a hateful, scoundrel, characterless and inexpressive. He makes us want to slap him, from beginning to end. His lover, the illegitimate and emerging daughter of the vice president (a lover collector) is deeply irritating, the girl has a constant constipated expression that is disgusting to watch. She certainly takes after her father, whose character is also null. I honestly don't know if I can say that I liked this show. No character is charismatic, the plot itself is empty, futile, the soundtrack is poor and the locations border on pure tackiness. I watched it until the end out of mere curiosity, nothing more. I didn't feel involved in this show, I didn't even like the main cast. It's a lukewarm and boring show.
