Aliens: A Redenção

9.7 - A really true surprise of the independent portuguese cinema, directed by Rui Constantino (fix this name, you'll hear about him in the future), which is a kind of "hommage" to the work masterpiece of James Cameron - ALIENS! In fact, it's a short film, made with scarse resources, but with a very high quality degree achieved. Point out to the level of intensity, which comes to the situation where you end up vibrating when seeing this small work, to the point of being really thrilling to watch! For that much contributes the excelent soundtrack and level of sound effects of this picture and the acting of the main actor, who becames a true "RAMBO ALIEN KILLER"! Recommended viewing!!!

The visuals in this movie are awesome, for a short movie it surprised me a lot, i was expecting that this wasn´t going to be good...but...was i wrong. It´s solid entertainment all the way, since we start at space station north star, until they arrived at planet xenon, it´s time for war once again, it reminded me a lot of Aliens, loved the scenes they did inside the apc. If this movie was a feature film, and they had a bigger budget, i really don´t know where this director would take us...

All in all i´d give this movie a 9 out of 10, because has short movies go, this is top notch quality.

If you love the aliens franchise see this movie, you won´t be disappointed.

Perfect direction. Beautiful cinematography. Intense characters. Big guns. Action. Aliens all over the place, one of the best Queen´s i´ve ever seen before. This movie rocks, scares you right on to your face, very mysterious, have tons of special effects, the acting is good.

Watch all the Alien movies, and then this one, and you will feel very satisfied. When you put your heart into doing something memorable, people will remember your name, and this director will be remembered.

Alien: Redemption takes the Alien franchise to places fans would never have dreamed, without compromising the key elements of the Alien world, and does it successfully. This tribute is a delight to fans eyes, who loved Aliens, will love this. A trully blessed christmas gift. The action sequences are quite good, the story here is once again solid and convincing, and the performances are still the top row quality you expected from this line.

This new installment in the Alien series, even as a short movie, takes us on a journey to familiar places, we´ve been before, by the time the action starts it's impossible to forget it. The special effects are remarkable, for a low budget i mean, it´s incredible what they done here, seen it already 4 times, and every time i see it, i find something new. You will be blown away by the effects and design of the sets and the great action sequences they have with the aliens. Look out for the post-credits scenes, they are so great

With Aliens as the best sci fi picture of all time, my rating for this is 9, because it really take us there again, and we see another mission with marines, and Weyland-Yutani Corp. taking over things again.
