The film is too slow and boring to watch. The camera shifts from paranormal mode to scenary, its not at all engaging. The last scenes look forced and there seems to be narrator throughout the movie to explain what is happening. Not worth your time!
Bad acting, direction and story line. I liked the conceptual freshness, hence the 4 stars. However, that was quickly and irreversibly eroded by what was otherwise a pain to watch.
Yet another thriller offering from the super-talented Aishwarya Rajesh, 'Bhoomika' is a film with its heart in the right place but in trying to do too many things, director Rathindran Prasad looses his way and in turn. Looses the audience as well.
Our up and coming lady superstar plays the role of a child psychologist, who moves into an eerie boarding school which she along with her developer husband hopes to turn into eco villas. There, they encounter a series of supernatural incidents and how the motley crew of scared youngsters tackle these forms the rest of the plot.
While there are many sequences that provide jump scares, Aishwarya is let down by a largely mediocre supporting cast with Madhuri, Surya Ganapathy and Ayaan Abhishek's performances being largely forgettable.
The ever dependable Pavel Navageethan makes a strong impression in a short role while Avantika Vandanapu excels in playing an autistic teenager with depth and nuance.
In trying to deliver a different horror experience, the director meanders unconvincingly into techno-horror and ecological horror elements, without providing sufficient intrigue get the audiences to buy into the plotline at any point.
While the idea and the theme were on point, sadly, the execution wasn't. Even an earnest performance from Aishwarya Rajesh cant save this mediocre effort.

Aditi and the that architect were so damn annoying. Right from the beginning. I just kept wanting aditi to get evicted or killed by the so called ghost because could not tolerate that annoying stupid character. Pathetic acting n worst role.
Not really a horror movie. Every single character in this movie is annoying and over acts, especially the main guy and his sister. This makes it very difficult to enjoy the movie. You can watch it for the beautiful scenery at the beginning, but don't bother after that.
