I wish IMDB would moderat the reviews more, I just read some and 1 person had the audacity to review this series after watching 15 minutes of it. This should now be allowed.
This short series (3 episodes) is compelling and sad at the same time. Both actresses are absolutely fantastic and the plot is just varied enough, not focussing on 1 issue, to keep you glued to the screen.
8 out of 10 for the series, and an extra point for the absolutely great acting. Well done Emily and. Denise.

I thought this was great since the psychologist was always listening to the questions that the patient/client asked her, and used that information to eventually understand what happened.
Without giving anything away then this is what good psychologists do, and they will reflect on their own experiences (whether personal or from previous cases) to come to a conclusion about what caused certain actions and the state of mind of their patient/client preceding that and after that.
I loved Cracker (10/10, showing my age here) and thought that this was along the same lines of a vulnerable psychologist confronting a very difficult case.
So, 8/10.

Hard hitting drama showing how easy it could be to be pushed to breaking point with the right set of circumstances. Also how we can pre judge without knowing the full picture. It's a slow burn but outstanding from start to finish.
Plenty of high scores and low scores on here with nothing in between. It's a slow burner of a series with two obviously traumatised women and a lot of mystery of what's happened to them. But you have to be patient and wait for the slow but sure character development.
Don't tune in if expecting an exciting and fast paced programme. Do if enjoying a good psychological drama with plenty of questions to be answered.

Forget the poor reviews. Watch this utterly compelling performance of two people colliding together and finding redemption in self forgiveness and the forgiveness of each other.
