This was made in 1935. Meanwhile, the Japanese military had already conquered four nations. Through brutal force. As demonstrated in this video. 'Someday those kids will be soldiers', they probably thought. 'Might as well start early', they likely said.
But today, if you ask the average kid there, they'll tell you Japan was the victim in World War II. Same country this video was made in. Have they run out of clues there? Seems like they don't have a clue. But they are swimming in ignorance.
