The subtle way it renders ambition, dedication, friendship, comradery and the humanne relationships is amazing - not only amongst the soldiers but even amongst offenders.

When watching this, sometimes I did feel this is just drama, but really good drama, but more often, I had to remind myself this is drama, and not real.

There's heartbreak, and sometimes I've cheered them on from this side of the screen because there's no helping but get emersed in their wonderful execution of their characters.

It's just downright great stuff. Watch it!!! Totally watch it!!!

One of the best Military Cdrama. The screenwriter imprinted captivating personalities on his characters and knew how to tie all the stories together.

This is the best drama of Yangyang and good acting and performance plus the action scene and supporting actors are contributing as well. Well done highly recommended. I finally finished Glory of Special Forces starring Yang Yang, and wow... what a ride! Honestly, when I first started, I wasn't sure I could stick with it. The military theme made me hesitate a lot, but after seeing so many amazing clips of Yang Yang from this drama, I decided to give it a try.

It actually took me almost a year to finish because the story didn't feel super intense most of the time. The drama focuses heavily on the life of soldiers, their intense training, constant readiness, and the way they have to put aside personal pride for the sake of their team. That realism is what makes it so special, even if the pacing feels slow at times.

For me, the real excitement didn't kick in until around episode 30. That's when things started to feel more gripping. Still, every moment before that, the training sequences, the challenges, and the emotional struggles of each character was important and really worth watching.

What I love most is how much this drama teaches you about perseverance. It shows that you need to hold back your ego, grow up, and become better but without breaking yourself in the process. And yet, it also reminds you to keep pushing your limits when necessary.

I think this is one of the best Chinese military dramas in recent years. It is the story of the young new soldier Yan Poyue, who had gone through strict physical training since childhood following his kidnap by the drug dealers who his father had arrested. His dream is to be the best soldier and join the special force. However, his self-centric personality and lack of trust in others caused a lot of problems.

Through his eyes and interactions with his comrades, the drama presents many intriguing characters and the deeply touching relationships among friends and opponents. The production has movie qualities and is captivating. The plot twists and turns unexpectedly but has quite some realistic basis.

It is a show that one can't just skip through - in many places I had to rewind so as not to miss the details...
