The Red Mask

Great meta horror and brilliant commentary on the dread of the culture wars and online bullying. Brilliant performances all around by the cast while the film has great pace and rhythm that makes it great fun to watch. Highly recommended for horror fans worldwide and looking forward to future sequels if any are in the works!

Behind the (red) mask or on the internet? Well maybe both? No pun intended - this may be quite "wordy" (is that a word?), so you have to stick with it. And it is aware (for some maybe to a painful degree) of the rules and cliches of the genre .. it plays with them while also giving us some social commentary.

Now even if this movie or any other isn't your cup of tea ... you can express that opinion (you should actually), but try to be respectful of the people behind it ... yes there are people with real feelings and a life - that do not try to mess with you ... they just have a different perspective than you.

Having said all that - the movie ultimately does deliver on its slasher premise (and promise) ... you just have to stick with it - no hiding allowed!
