Fang Leng has a car accident as a storm approaches but he is saved by an alien that has just emerged from her ship. While rescuing him the alien loses something important so is stuck on Earth until she can find it.
Xiaoqi is enchanted by Fang Li, who she meets while making deliveries. She recognizes Fang Leng as the person she rescued and tries to search him and his places to find her device. Jiang Xue makes sure she is noticed by Fang Leng.
Fang Leng can touch Xiaoqi, much to her surprise, so she thinks he is also an alien. Jiang Xue agrees to help Fang Leng for an unnamed future favor. Xiaoqi discovers Fang Leng is not affected when she freezes time.
An allergic reaction hospitalizes Fang Leng. Xiaoqi interrupts an attack. Jiang Xue tells Fang Lie that she is back for Fang Leng even as she plots to break into his memory bank. Fang Leng is advised to escape the coming storm.
After the rain, Fang Leng remembers Xiaoqi so he thinks he is cured - until he doesn't remember other women. Xiaoqi makes him miss an important meeting so creates a new opportunity. Fang Leng is jealous when Xiaoqi isn't.
Fang Leng has a bad reaction to his stepmother's visit. Fang Lie gets inspired and Xiaoqi makes sure Filner sees him. Fang Leng makes a request that Xiaoqi is unsure how to handle.
Fang Leng's family wants to know why he visits a psychiatrist but instead are unexpectedly introduced to Xiaoqi as his girlfriend. Xiaoqi accepts the role only to help Fang Leng battle his problem.
Xiaoqi starts work at F group and manages to visit the research department. She smuggles out an artifact. Fang Lie's exhibition is a success until it is sabotaged. Xiaoqi gets injured looking for Fang Lie.
Xiaoqi recovers from her injuries at Fang Leng's apartment. She returns to the scene but can't find the artifact and feels conflicted. Fang Leng mistakes her friendship with Fang Lie for romantic interest.
Xiaoqi is flustered by a kiss. Fang Leng confronts her about the theft. After finding out that she is trying to die, Fang Leng guilts her into returning to work. Fang Lie goes to work for F group.
Xiaoqi is overenthusiastic in her efforts to help Fang Leng with his psychological problem. Jiang Xue makes sure the video from the exhibition leaks and Xiaoqi is shunned at work.
Shielding Xiaoqi has had consequences for Fang Leng but he refuses to give her up so he transfers her to Fang Lie's department. During an excursion to an island Xiaoqi discovers the location of her artifact.
Fang Lie tries to make Fang Leng jealous but unknowingly endangers Xiaoqi. Jiang Xue deletes Xiaoqi from Fang Leng's memory banks. After the rain, Fang Leng wakes up but doesn't recall Xiaoqi.
Fang Leng has returned to his cold-hearted previous self even when Xiaoqi tries to help him remember. Jiang Xue steps in as his confidant. Fang Lie and Xiaoqi work on their perfume proposal.
Xiaoqi attends a benefit in order to dispute gossip. Jiang Xue slaps her then feigns injury. Fang Lie begins falling for Xiaoqi. Xiaoqi administers an aphrodisiac to Fang Leng to increase his heart rate.
Jiang Xue reveals their past connection to Fang Leng and refuses to give up trying. Fang Leng denies his feelings for Xiaoqi which makes her cry, confounding her alien sensibilities. Xiaoqi's powers glitch.
Xiaoqi wakes up next to Fang Leng. Mrs. Fang seeks out Xiaoqi to learn of Fang Leng's weaknesses. Xiaoqi plays the game. Fang Leng agrees to try a relationship with Jiang Xue. Fang Leng learns of Xiaoqi's meeting with his father.
Jiang Xue's spy can't find anything about Xiaoqi's past. Xiaoqi denies Jiang Xue's attempts to bully her - Fang Leng breaks up with Jiang Xue partly because of it. Two are trapped in an elevator made perilous by Xiaoqi's glitching.
Xiaoqi admits to feelings for Fang Leng but chooses to leave with Fang Lie. Jiang Xue discusses matters with Mr. Fang. Xiaoqi's attempt to remove the artifact sends Fang Leng into critical condition.
Fang Leng recovers in the hospital waiting for Xiaoqi to visit. Mr. Fang assures Jiang Xue that Fang Leng will come around eventually. Xiaoqi packs and plans to leave. Fang Leng discharges himself and charges after her.
Fang Leng has turned over a new leaf but Xiaoqi has been hurt too many times. Xiaoqi stays but when Fang Lie declares his love she tries to avoid them both. Neither will concede to the other for the love they both crave.
Fang Leng states that he will wait for Xiaoqi to come to him but when his Amnesia issues are revealed in the press it is her who worries about him before the company.
Xiaobu is pet-napped and Xiaoqi freaks out. Fang Lie tries help. Xiaoqi is attacked in the research lab and visibly cut. Jiang Xue approaches Mr. Fang with a way to keep Fang Leng as head of the company.
Mr. Fang pushes marriage to Juang Xue. Fang Lie asks Xiaoqi to run away with him, making the decision easier for his brother. Xiaoqi is kidnapped by a scientist who suspects her true nature but in the process begins dying.
Xiaoqi is getting desperate. She has to return to her planet for treatment or she will die. She can't take the artifact from Fang Leng and she can't get into his memory bank. Mrs. Fang comes to gloat over Fang Leng's departure.
Fang Leng wakes up from his coma and confronts his father. Fang Lie asks Xiaoqi about being an alien. Fang Leng gets answers from Fang Lie, but not the ones he wants.
Fang Leng uses the hormone spray to get some of the answers he needs from Xiaoqi then absconds with Xiaobu. Xiaobu gives him a possible avenue to save Xiaoqi and he takes it, despite knowing the risks.
