Golden Gloves

Very well directed and edited. A must see for people interested in female boxing. I have seen many documentaries and this is one of the best. The New York Daily News is the force behind the Golden Gloves and they are supporters of female boxing. Their tournament first allowed women in the early 1990's. This documentary shows how the women have progressed from the first competitors to the strong and talented women today. It goes further by showing the mental as well as the physical make up of the athletes. The film is an inspiration for all young female athletes. The International Olympic Committee will be forced to add a female boxing competition to their program when more people see this documentary. First the females that see the film will be inspired to compete and become better than the women in the film and second as the female athletes get better and better there will be more of a demand by the public to pressure the IOC into adding female boxing to the Olympic program.
