George Foreman, the charismatic boxer turned infomercial star who had a retail hit with his Foreman Grill product line, died Friday. He was 76.

The Texas-born Foreman became Heavyweight Champion of the World, and segued into a TV staple and pop culture icon. He was swept up in the swirl of decade-defining events surrounding Muhammad Ali as well as Joe Frazier and other high-wattage pugilists of the 1970s. In the 1990s, Foreman took advantage of the availablity of low-cost TV time to launch his Foreman Grill home grill product through a series of infomercials that he hosted.

Foreman famously had a close call in the ring in 1977 that drove him to quit boxing and declare himself a born-again Christian. He became an ordained minister in 1978 and began preaching in his hometown of Houston. He shocked the sports world when he returned to boxing in 1987 and wound up reclaiming his Heavyweight Champion...

“The Electric State” is a world filled with robots, and odds are, you’re definitely going to recognize a lot of their voices.

Now streaming on Netflix, the film follows Michelle (Millie Bobby Brown), an teenager living on her own and navigating life in a society where robots — yes, robots, this movie takes place in an alternate version of the 1990s that’s much more futuristic — now live in exile after a failed uprising against humans.

Teaming up with a kind robot named Cosmo, Michelle sets out to find her younger brother, who she thought to be dead. Along the way, she also teams up with a smuggler and his own sassy robot sidekick.

Ben Stiller never intended to go so long without leading a movie. The fan-favorite actor recently opened up about taking a seven-year break (save for the odd cameo) from movies, revealing that it was never the plan.

While speaking with Variety about his new comedy Nutcrackers, Stiller admitted, "I never thought Id take this much time away from acting," promising his fans that "it wasnt intentional; it was just how things evolved." The actor explained that he got busy with Severance, the Apple TV+ series he executive produces and directs, which largely prevented him from taking on other jobs. However, when the 2023 Hollywood strikes happened, delaying production of Severance Season 2, Stiller found himself unexpectedly available, leading him to board Nutcrackers, which received a waiver from the unions to shoot given that it was made outside the studio system.

Actor Bill Cobbs, who amassed dozens of acting roles over the course of his career, has passed away. He was 90 years old.

Per Entertainment Weekly, Cobbs died of natural causes on Tuesday. His passing was confirmed by his publicist, Chuck I. Jones, who referred to the Night at the Museum star as "just a phenomenal human being." Jones further described the late actor as a "very genuine, kind, and concerned person who was always looking to help others."

Cobbs was born on June 16, 1934. After serving in the U.S. Air Force for eight years, Cobbs relocated to New York with hopes of launching an acting career in 1970. After getting his start with theater productions, the actor went on to make his feature film debut in 1974's The Taking of Pelham One Two Three. Greg Finley, a prolific voiceover actor whose many credits include animated fare like Robotech and live-action projects including The X-Files and Men at Work II, died peacefully February 1 of heart-related causes while on vacation at a family member’s home in Phoenix, Arizona. He was 76.

His death was announced by his son Guy Finley.

Season 4 of the multiple Emmy award-winning The Handmaid’s Tale premieres on April 28. It’s been awhile since we’ve seen June and her dystopian world. In fact, it’s been so long that our own world decided to endure its own dystopian pandemic in the meantime. Hopefully this series’ return will mean we can keep our political and social collapses on television where they belong.

Predictably, Disney+ made quick and easy work of cornering the tween and teen market demographic mere months are starting their streaming service, thanks to the Disney brand's popularity with family audiences. Now, a report by The Disney Insider indicates the Mouse Empire is looking to further cash in on fan nostalgia with an animated follow-up to the Ben Stiller comedy series Night at the Museum.

Netflix has started production on Dash & Lily, an eight-episode holiday romantic comedy series, from Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps and Nick Jonas’ Image 32. It marks the fifth Netflix series for Levy, who signed one of the first big overall deals with the streamer and has emerged as one of its most prolific producers.

Austin Abrams and Midori Francis (Good Boys) lead the cast of the half-hour series, based on the Ya book series Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares from authors Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. Mary Poppins himself Michael Rooker and Dylan O'Brien (The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials) will be teaming up soon for the post-apocalyptic monster movie Monster Problems. If those two bits of casting news weren't enough to pique your interest in the upcoming film, maybe today's addition will. Today we have word that young Gamora actress Ariana Greenblatt is joining in on the fun as well. Greenblatt will be playing a character by the name of Minnow in the Paramount Players motion picture.

Monster Problems is a coming of age movie about a young man living in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by monsters. Michael Rooker will play Clyde, an expert hunter who teaches Joel Dawson (O'Brien) how to survive the Monster Apocalypse. No word on how Greenblatt's Minnow fits into the story at this time. The brothers are back! The Jonas Brothers that is. After six years, Kevin Jonas, Nick Jonas, and Joe Jonas have reunited with their new single “Sucker” and the pop trio announced today that they are partnering with Amazon Studios, Philymack, and Federal Films for a new documentary.

The news of the project comes after the sibling trio dropped their single for “Sucker”, the accompanying music video and news of their new album on March 1. Specific details and release date have yet to be announced, but the documentary will be an intimate look at their lives. The feature will premiere on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories.

After several years in development, Warner Bros. is finally moving forward on a new incarnation of The Cannonball Run. Deadline reports that the studio has secured the rights to the original 1981 classic, hiring Etan Cohen to write the script and direct. This report claims the studio doesn't consider this project a "remake," but rather a "relaunch" of the franchise.
