I really loved the grim reaper from Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (Goblin) aka Lee Dong-wook so much so that I had to watch his Touch Your Heart and now this. This was a completely different role that he took on and I loved it. It was dark, his character reminded me a lot of Mads Mikkelsen's Hannibal Lector. A beautiful man with a dark soul. Yoon Jong-woo (Im Siwan) just needed someone to listen to him, to believe him, to understand his feelings. We see a 27 year old man go from being excited and happy about his new internship, moving away from home and closer to his girlfriend to a man that doesn't seem stable enough to be in society. If some of the characters just heard him out, would they be able to save him? I found myself being reminded of some of the bullying that is experienced in the adult working world. It's scary what the real world is actually like.
A young man moves from the countryside to Seoul to be near his girlfriend but finds it difficult to locate affordable accommodation. In desperation he moves into a rundown building in an area waiting to be redeveloped. He soon wishes he hadn't as the building is occupied by some very strange residents indeed. A well acted series which is claustrophobic and the tenants really are menacing. It is only a short series at ten episodes but I found it a difficult watch as there is no let up on the foreboding and dark air.
If you enjoy watching psychological triller series, Stranger from Hell is definitely for you. If you don't like this kind of genre, just skip it.
I have read some reviews about Strangers from Hell. Some people mentioned that they don't like the ending. But, for me, the ending is naturally perfect. That's why I give 10/10 rating. 🔥
Characters development, script, acting are so good. The settings and atmosphere of the series will give you creepy feeling. One of the best trillers ever!

Starts off as boring like every great dramas. The ending is phenomenal. If you are looking for a psychological thriller, horror, suspense, this is the best one to go for. The series is very small has only 10 episodes.
Each and every actor of the 'Eden studio's has done superb job at acting.
OSTs are addicting!!!
Lee Dong Wook proves himself in this drama that he can essay more intense roles than just the chocolate boy in love. He has done an incredible job and I can undoubtedly say that this drama is one of his best works. The intensity, the emotions he has given it all to his character.
Ending is splendid as I said.
Deserves much more attention.
I hope they come up with season 2 soon. Pls. Can they? T_T
Another korean masterpiece!! The creepiest tv series I've ever watched!!
The twist at the end gave me a watch-gasme!!
No one can portray those characters like Korean actors!!
