The Great Escape

A thrilling but sometimes frustrating 3rd person action adventure stealth based P. O. W Escapee game based off the original movie of the same name from 1963.

In each level of the game, the Player relives the experiences of prisoners escape attempts from Luftwaffe-run prisoner-of-war (POW) camps / facilities across Germany and occupied Europe in the earlier years of the war (1940 --)

Some levels are challenging. You are limited to a couple of saves per level depending on the selected difficulty (Easy, Medium or Hard). You need to plan your save points smartly. Paying attention to your Environment is key to a less frustrating gameplay experience. I had fun with this game. It reminds me of the Sniper Elite Series (2005 - Present Day) games developed by Rebellion Developments.

One word great. I am saying its a great game because as compared to games coming out in 2003 this game had a unique feel. The movie sequences were well staged in the game, the graphics were good too for a 2003 game. The missions on airfield, tunnel, train were freaking awesome rest missions were cool too. The sound track is pretty good tunes from movie itself. Especially the bike mission in the end is one of the best stages I have ever played.

The game-play is pretty cool you can do loads of stuff. Weapons are good, AI is good too. A great RPG. A must play for all the gamers out there. Should play this if you are a true gamer. You will love it.
