    An interesting biopic

A few holes here and there, but overall a good watch. Choice of characters ... think it could have been better. But those that acted did very well in my opinion. This offers an insight a good one at that into the history of politics especially military politics in Nigeria, Pre- Coup and Pro - Coup.

The hunger for power is not a new thing apparently, even the ones with the noblest of characters. The cabal has been "cabaling" since forever and it is going to take a miracle to uproot them.

Nigerian politics is one of the most complicated in the world. This movie has shown that. Even your closest friend cannot be trusted, but of course we all know that.

    A Historical Movie

Badamasi tells the story of Babangida from his origins in the village of Wushishi in Northern Nigeria to his joining the army and time as a Nigerian military head of state.

It also portrays significant events in Babangida's life including the period of the Nigerian civil war where Babangida sustains injuries in an attempt to rescue a colleague.

The subsequent military coups and annulment of the June 1993 presidential elections were also portrayed.
