But I had to see it till the end. One of those films that one cannot be to critical while watching it. Just seat back and relax. If you can pass the first boring 20 minutes introduction, you'll get involved with story.
They were clever to cast the actors who play the brothers. They are two of the hottest young actors in Brazil.

Omg what a mess. This weird cinematic concoction could only be made in Europe. It's a weird twist of homophobic stereotypes, tired and exhausted, decades old story-lines, ridiculous scriptwriting, uneven acting, low budget staging and simply implausible plot. Despite all of this, I laughed way more than the film deserved and managed to hold in there until the truly appallingly predictable ending. Memo to anyone considering producing any LGBTQ+ film in the 21st. Century...if you don't have a decent script, great actors and a capable director...don't bother.
It's simply insulting and more damaging than anything to the cause of celebrating difference.
I've seen worse Gay movies but not by much.

I really enjoyed this movie. Very funny characters. I loved the location as well not to mentioned that it is dry rare to watch a film from South America that does not show the poverty and troubles of most people. A breath of fresh air for gay South American cinema.
Fun, witty, and entertaining all the way through. Love the cast anf the acting - individually and as a group. Personas were made theatrical, with the plot bringing key moments that gradually force the characters out of their particular stereotypes.
My mom (late 60's) and I (late 30's) unintentionally started watching from the beginning on TV on a saturday night, not knowing the name of the film or what genre it belonged to... it was a pleasant surprise for both of us!
I only searched for its info when the film ended and it was a bit of a shock how low rated it got. I reckon it could have been more of an issue with the title and poster that maybe did not meet the right audience and expectations.
Would definitely watch it again!

This is a cute little movie, almost like a French Farce. It's entertaining but watch it for what it is.....just a bit of mindless entertainment. It's not a drama, or much of a message film, but does show the inter-generational divide that still exists about accepting LGBTQ people. In the long run, family support and love can overcome all!
