Devil's Trade

Although there's nothing here that hasn't been done before, I found myself interested in this half hour mini-movie (more episodes coming?). About a teen who buys a weird-looking cross off a website and then things in his, his sister's & her boyfriend's lives take a drastic turn for the worse. The website they bought it from has You Tube-style videos of other buyers who have bought the cross to their misfortune - one who informs that the only way to get rid of the cross' curse is to sell it. Check this out on Fearnet cable - it's on Free Movies On Demand. Like I say, it's not exactly original but it's better than the ratings here might suggest and a fun little half hour horror show in time for Halloween.

I bought the 30 Days of Night Blutspur 3x short stories connected to the graphic novels and the movies. Short prequels that tell a little more of the story that was missing from the films but in the graphic novels.

Blood Trials and Dust to Dust were fantastic continuations/additions to the 30 Days of Night story....... then came Devils Trade. And was totally disappointed that it wasnt connected to 30 Days of Night or vampires at all!?? 😟😡 It's about a cursed piece of wood made into a cross that was cut from a hanging tree and is cursed.

The story was unoriginal, but well shot and acted by the small cast. But couldnt enjoy as was still a bit annoyed it wasnt related and had no vampires in it.

Why was it on the disc?? Odd.
