Probably one of the best travelog series in recent times. It captures the essence and cultural significance of Ganga really well.

Great introductory travel show following the journey of the holy river Ganga from its glacial origins in the Himalayas all the way to the Bay of Bengal.

Through the journey, the show educates the viewers about the anthropogenic factors disturbing Ganga's natural ecosystem while also listing the recent remediation work commissioned by the government to counteract these.

It also focuses on the interaction with the community along the banks of the river, helping us discover not only the diverse food, customs and traditions along the path but also the crucial dependency on Ganga.

Each episode is quite short with a lot of content packed in so it can feel a bit amorphous at times but it still does a good job at keeping you engaged and curious.

Rajeev is the perfect pick as the host since he brings a touch of freshness to the series which is often absent in such productions owing to everything being carefully planned, choreographed and narrated. He presents himself as an incredibly humble traveller who is genuinely enthusiastic about people, travel and adventure which just adds to the magic!

Well documented and presented, Rajiv as host is also good.
