This show is full of surprises, in just over 20 minutes Final Space managed to tie everything together while still managing to ensure a proper ending (with a twist) this episode is amazingly animated with some of the most iconic scenes in Final Space, I'm more then anticipated for the 3rd season.

That's the kind of episodes I've been waiting for... Sacrifice... Epic Soundtracks... Twists... Tears... Fighting for glory... and at the end... realizing that there are still episodes to come! An epic battle between the squad and the titans awaits!
In my review of the first season of "Final Space" I said that the show had some potential to get funnier, as it already had the plotting work done. Unfortunately, I don't feel like this second season improved in that area, and lost a lot of the story work that the first season did.
Having lost the love of his life to Final Space at the conclusion of the first season, Gary Goodspeed (Olan Rogers) is rescued by a ship led by the still fairly villainous Clarence (Conan O Brien). Eventually establishing an uneven command, Gary sets out to locate six keys that will release Bolo, an intergalactic Titan, who has agreed to return Quinn (Tiki Sumpter).
So, that synopsis feels like collecting the six keys should be what the run was about. Instead though, there seemed to be a lot of filler and detours until the last couple of episodes picked things up again. Visually it's still good and there are a lot of really good vocal performances from across the cast. It's critical failing though, remains that it's just not quite funny enough. It's consistently moderately amusing but hardly ever laugh out loud funny.
I don't hate it but I don't love it either. I'll be back for the 3rd season, as the end of the final episode gave me enough intrigue to see what happens, but I'd still love it if just a few more jokes per episode would land.
