Why does "I Am Zlatan" only have 7 reviews before my review?! I just can´t believe this. I´m so confused and shocked! We´re talking about Zlatan here! I´m not a devoted football fan, but he is one of the greatest football players of all time.
And I actually liked this movie. We are introduced to Zlatan in his younger years. Granit Rushiti looks a lot like Zlatan. And I think that Granit also managed to capture Zlatan´s big, strong, confident and some kind of larger-than-life personality. Dominic Andersson Bajraktati portrays Zlatan when he is a child. Dominic gives his role liveliness, courage and stubbornness.
Mapei´s song "Ain´t My Fault" is, in my opinion, a great song. It enhances the confident vibe in this movie. And Mapei has an amazing voice!
All in all I must say, in all honesty and clarity, that this movie deserves way more reviews than 8. I´m hoping for at least 100 reviews. Yes, you read that correctly.

Predictable and superficial. Poor acting on all parts, unfortunately not least when it comes to the main character. A polished and fan-adapted version of the main character. The entire movie feels juvenile and does not seize the opportunity to create insights in Z as a person or the influence he had on those around him. Rather it just confirms the general image of a non-conformist, grumpy ego without creating any understanding for the driving forces involved. It fails to bring anything new to the table.
The film seems to be focused on building the Zlatan mythology and brand rather than telling the story of his life in a good way. This is a pity, since Z's history has great potential.
On the positive side.
I guess the football scenes are pretty good and it is said to be quite historically accurate.
There is no real reason to see it. If you are a fan, it likely confirms your opinions. If you're not, it doesn't add much.

Zlatan one of the Best fotball players in newer era but i tought this movie should be more realistic,But in my eyes poor actors not the real story from he s life. Do when i watch it i just felt that he was a spoiled angry kid who never had struggle in he s life! Only found reason s to blame everybody else and never understand that fotballl are a team sport and since he s also so big fan of martial Arts he should understand the difference between fight alone in a ring then have ten team mates on your course so i felt that the movie did not portrayed Zlatan the way they should and really tell the story! Because no body sympatises with this spoiled brat in the movie and Zlatan in real life ok have way High ego but also dam good player so this movie failure so much but i cant give many Stars Only because i like Zlatan so for me only 3 stars had it not been 10% of Zlatan life in it i had give the Movie Only 1 on the rating but i feel if they made it way more realistic like how we know that he lived and did stuff it could be a awsome movie so i feel that they destroyed a great change to make a great movie! Strange that Zlatan said ok to this script at all?
Zlatan's story is fascinating. This movie is average. I was entertained but I felt like this approach ruled out many interesting episodes in Zlatan's life.
There were too many transactions between the adult and child phases that ended up removing emotion and decontextualizing the temporal thread.
The movie picture was a little monotonous and the sound of the movie was linked to that vibe.
The actors were competent but without grace. The actor who played Zlatan showed some personality but lacked some aura around the character.
Maybe I was too hyped, but this movie turned out not to live up to its potential.

"I Am Zlatan" is a Biography - Drama movie in which we follow the life of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, one of the most controversial and talented footballers of all time. The movie offers a close look at Zlatan's journey from his rough upbringing in Sweden to his rise as a global football star.
I have to admit that I enjoyed this movie and it captured very well the essence of Zlatan's personality while it presented very well the challenges that he faced. Despite that, I also expected a deeper exploration of his inner conflict and complexities. The interpretation of the lead actor Granit Rushiti who played as Zlatan Ibrahimovic was very good and added authenticity to the portrayal. To sum up, I have to say that "I Am Zlatan" is a nice movie especially for football fans or anyone curious about the man behind the legend. It might not be perfect, but it offers a glimpse into the unique journey of one of the sport's most polarizing figures so, I would recommend it to those who admire Zlatan Ibrahimovic or enjoy sports dramas.
