The original script didn't have any Romanian elements or characters in it. Rolly Winter was supposed to be Jewish-Italian and the character Sienna Spring was originally supposed to be a born and raised Southern California girl. It was only until the audition of Violeta Meyners that the writer was inspired to alter the script to include some of the actress's cultural background.
