Two of the four children featured were very naughty and hard to watch. One obviously has some emotional and or psychological issues that need serious attention.
The other just needs a spanking.
Of the remaining two nice children, one seems so very terrified of the spotlight and completely out of his element, despite how much his parents insist that this is what he loves to do.
While I do compliment the families of these children for having open minds and hearts, I can't help but question their motivation. Experimenting with make up and clothing is totally cool. And letting them participate is a ball is awesome! But watching a child in drag rolling around on the floor of a bar making eyes at old men putting back brown bottles gives me ALL of the cringes.

This is a wonderful show that proves that, with an open and understand family, children can express who they are. This has nothing to do with sexuality, this is about identity. Some of the comments online about this show has made me feel very angry. There seems to be a "Christian" minority that are attacking these children and their families because of biblical scripture. Maybe these same "Christians" should read their bible more closely and look for all the parts about love and forgiveness rather than the TINY amount regarding homosexuality (remember, this documentary is NOT about sexuality). It doesn't matter if you agree or not, these children do not need your blessing, they merely need your understanding.
I wish all the families an amazing life and I hope they can inspire more families to listen to their children. <3

Someone hit the nail on the head when they said this is about identity not sexuality. This could've been done with adults instead of children and still get the same message across. Why are we so narrow-minded? Because this isn't about little league baseball? It's a celebration of life, individuals, and freedom of choices. It's also a matter of taste. Kids change their minds a lot so they might not be interested in this when they're older. But if they are, more power to 'em!
You might think I'm a liberal Democrat. Nope, I'm actually a MAGA Republican. And how about a sequel to this great doc? I'd love to see what the kids are up to today!

If you don't learn to dance in the rain you're just gonna get wet and miserable! How can this not bring joy to you? Children happy doing what they love to do! I'm filled with joy that these kids won't grow up with issues or problems because they've at least been listened to when young. The youngsters have so much to give and are our future. I'd always opt for bright and cheerful and glitter over sadness and misery. I'm proud of all my kids. ALL OF THEM! We celebrate their differences because that's what life is all about. Respect and celebrate differences in people - we are all as individual as our fingerprints suggest. And those nay-sayers talking about sexuality - ONLY YOU BROUGHT THAT INTO THIS ISSUE - I would strongly suggest you sort out your own dirty-minded closet first!
