I saw it on Sunday at the closing session of MotelX
It was the winner of the "Best Portuguese Horror Short 2021" award and also the MotelX award "Méliès d'argent - best European short".
The jury certainly awarded the technical aspects...
Very good technical level, everything well done and cute, but no story.
Which is strange, since it's based on the homonymous tale by Walter Hugo Mãe. Anyway, I haven't read it, but it must have some content, just saying...
I haven't seen, not even close, all the national and international short films, but at least for the "Méliès..." award, the short film by Filipe Melo "O Lobo Solitário" not having the aesthetic and scenic quality of this one, it is, for me, much better movie.
But, nonetheless, have to respect, jury decision .
