American Nightmare 5 : Sans Limites

I like the Purge series, but i think this one was the worst. I feel that this movie was just put together. There were too many holes in the story and the plot didn't flow. The action scenes were dull, and boring.

You start learning with francises either they get better,as new ideas & technology can emerge or you end up with a"milk the cow"syndrome.. Wasn't anything original or new here,unless the fact Purge night never ended.

It felt so politically based,it became rather annoying.. Refer back to The First Purge(2018)that carried a similar tone,about race & so forth.

Sure this movie had killings,gore & things but really that doesn't mean exactly much if the script or dialog fails.. A good movie with the right cast,director,location & storyline could be done about a bag.

Is it worth seeing? Sure. A popcorn flick to pass time,but don't expect a masterpiece.

The Forever Purge had potential to be an interesting addition in the purge universe but unfortunately fell flat with the disappointing plot and predicable jump scares. If this is the first Purge outing for you it won't be such a letdown, maybe wait until its on another platform instead of paying for a cinema ticket.

The other Purge films are escapist horror fantasy, this one just decides to reflect the present reality that awaits outside.

By no means the strongest purge movie but it sure does hold up well and is a good addition to the franchise. The cast did really well and I like the idea of people going against the idea of the purge only being one night a year as it adds suspension and makes you wonder if their will be another purge movie .
