The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered Lets You Contract Brain Rot, and No It’s Not the Online Kind
Image
The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered was truly ahead of its time as players could contract Brain Rot. No, you don’t contract it by watching TikTok reels or YouTube shorts in the game. But, it sure did affect you quite a lot, if you were thinking that at first.

The internet is completely riddled with brain-dead content, which, for some reason, is being consumed a lot. That’s why Oblivion fans hysterically laugh about it, as it’s an actual effect in the game. So flush your Skibidi Toilet, as we’re gonna talk about Brain Rot (in Oblivion Remastered).

Wait, Brain Rot is a thing in Oblivion Remastered? What the skibidi! The chads won’t be happy to get this disease. | Image Credit: Bethesda

Yes, Brain Rot is actually a thing in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered if you haven’t paid attention before. In the game,...

When Leonardo DiCaprio Almost Blew His Titanic Role — But James Cameron Outsmarted Him With This Genius Move
Image
How Did James Cameron Convince Leonardo DiCaprio To Consider Titanic? ( Photo Credit – Instagram )

Some casting choices fall into place so perfectly, they feel like they were meant to happen all along. Leonardo DiCaprio stepping into the role of Jack Dawson in Titanic sits right up there with the most seamless ones. You watch it now, and it’s hard to picture anyone else sketching Kate Winslet or shouting from the ship’s bow like he owns the ocean. But the part didn’t land in his lap without a few bumps.

Leonardo DiCaprio: Hollywood’s Young Star With Standards At The Time

DiCaprio was only 21 when Titanic came along and was already a force to be reckoned with. He’d squared off with Robert De Niro (This Boy’s Life), caught Sharon Stone’s attention (The Quick and the Dead), and collected an Oscar nod for What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. For him,...

The Greatest Rom-Com Of All Time Is Now On Netflix — Expect Laughs, Love, & A Twist You Won’t See Coming!
Image
Crazy, Stupid, Love Is Back On Netflix! ( Photo Credit – Facebook )

One of the most beloved romantic comedies ever made has slipped back into Netflix’s lineup, and viewers are already celebrating its return. The film, Crazy, Stupid, Love, known for converting even the most rigid rom-com doubters, has become a cult favorite since its release in 2011.

Crazy, Stupid, Love Cast: An Ensemble Packed With Star Power

Crazy, Stupid, Love slid quietly back onto the streaming platform in the US on May 1, and fans didn’t hesitate to point it out. The movie has something most others don’t: It has a script that knows when to be sharp, sweet, and, most importantly, when to completely flip off the table.

Steve Carell plays Cal, a man stumbling through the ruins of his marriage. His quiet suburban life derails after his wife Emily decides they’re done, pushing him back into a...

Lun-Mei Gwei and Jay Chou in Bu Neng Shuo De. Mi Mi (2007)
Marvel's One World Under Doom is a perfect crossover by not overdoing it
Lun-Mei Gwei and Jay Chou in Bu Neng Shuo De. Mi Mi (2007)
The current Marvel Comics crossover is One World Under Doom. In one issue, it changed everything about Earth by putting Victor von Doom in charge of the world. Yes, Doctor Doom, one of the biggest villains in the universe, is now ruler of the world. Even Wakanda has let him have his way. They’re staying independent, but that’s more than enough for Doom. Meanwhile, the rest of the heroes and some of the villains are fighting back.

During One World Under Doom No. 3, readers learn that Victor didn’t do anything sinister to achieve his goal. He won by giving the world leaders everything they desired: They wanted things like power, money, sex, and more, and they got it. It was a brilliant way for von Doom to continue being the villain without the trope of using mind control. Now there was nothing the heroes could say. As far as they know,...

‘In Secret’: Elizabeth Olsen’s Movie on Infidelity and Romance With Tom Felton Was a Big Miss but the Cast Can’t Be Blamed
Image
A movie with a star-studded cast, rich literary source material, and lavish visuals sounds great on paper! In Secret had all these elements and could have been a gripping period drama about forbidden love and people’s descent into psychological ruin.

The movie is set in 1860s Paris, featuring talented artists like Elizabeth Olsen, Oscar Isaac, and Tom Felton. But somehow, despite all these ingredients, the audience found In Secret to be quite underwhelming. In the end, even the actors’ great performances couldn’t save the weak narrative.

Among all the metahumans that were introduced in phase 5 of the MCU, Emilia Clarke’s G’iah, a Super Skrull, was undoubtedly the strongest, who amassed the power of several MCU titans, including Captain Marvel.

Chicago Med Season 10, Episode 16 Review: The Most Uncomfortable Story

The following contains major spoilers from Chicago Med Season 10, Episode 16, "Poster Child," which debuted Wednesday, March 26 on NBC. It also contains discussion of sexual content.

Chicago Med Season 10, Episode 16, "Poster Child" is a hard episode to get one's brain around. On one hand, the NBC show takes a plot that could be cringe-worthy and makes it so much stronger. On the other, it contains the most cringe-worthy subplot in the entire season -- possibly one of the most awkward in series history. It's a tale of two extremes.

"Poster Child" does give Sharon Goodwin more to do, as a patient whom she treated 22 years ago returns to the hospital. But elsewhere, Dr. John Frost is involved in two controversial storylines. One...

The Netflix reality series Million Dollar Secret seems like it's following the hit reality show blueprint -- and that's its first surprise. This is another competition where strangers try to outwit and outlast each other for money, but it very quickly separates itself from the pack, thanks to incredible casting and a perfect host. Fans of The Traitors and Survivor will love Million Dollar Secret, but so will people who hate reality shows.

Million Dollar Secret refers to the series' central concept: that instead of dangling the big cash prize in front of players all season, the show gives them the money right away. The catch is no one knows which of 12 contestants has it -- so the goal in every episode...

Brilliant Minds Is One Of TV’s Finest Medical Dramas: Here’s Why It Deserves a Season 2 Renewal
Image
It isn’t easy to believe that NBC hasn’t yet renewed Brilliant Minds for a second season. It was a fan-favorite of the 2024 fall season.

While medical dramas are a dime a dozen, Brilliant Minds differed because the series focused on the characters’ quirky personality traits and how those skills helped solve unique medical cases.

Brilliant Minds’ cases were based on Oliver Sacks’ actual cases, which dealt with the brain. He believed in helping his patients adapt to their situation, even if there wasn’t a cure, which is not explored in medical dramas.

(Rafy/NBC)

While the medical cases were massively popular, the relationships were also hugely popular. Dr. Wolf and Dr. Pierce’s long-standing friendship remained the heart of the series, especially as it included flashbacks of the early years.

The relationship between Dr. Wolf and Dr. Nichols was one of the best parts of Brilliant Minds...

10 One Piece Scenes the Netflix Series Can't Adapt Without Controversy
Image
This article contains spoilersfor Season 2 of Netflix's One Piece live-action series.

Netflix's live-action One Pieceseries was a huge success and nailed most of the East Blue Saga. However, as the series moves into Season 2, certain scenes may be difficult to adapt without sparking some level of controversy amongst first-time viewers and long-time anime fans. The second season will cover the Loguetown Arc and a good portion of the Arabasta Saga, so there will be a lot of new characters, fights, and Devil Fruits.

Many of these potentially controversial scenes will involve the use of digital effects, but a few scenes could also be problematic because they have not aged well since they first debuted more than 20 years ago. A few live-action One Piece scenes could cause controversy if changes are made to the source material in any way.

Captain Marvel ending explained: Revising Carol Danvers' MCU origin story
Image
In 2019 Disney released Captain Marvel, to mixed reviews by critics and audiences. Starring Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law, and Ben Mendelsohn, the film followed the story of Captain Marvel Aka: Carol Danvers, an elite Kree with superpowers due to her exposure to the Tesseract (which if we recall contained one of the Infinity Stones; the Space Stone).

As it turned out, Carol was actually a U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, whose plane "Avenger" later inspired our iconic superhero team name; Avengers. But this isn't just Carol's origin story.

'John Wick's Chad Stahelski to Produce 'Sifu' Adaptation for Netflix
Image
Chad Stahelski is keeping busy with his video game adaptations, as a new report from Deadline has revealed that the John Wick director will be producing a Netflix adaptation of the video game Sifu, which was developed and published by Sloclap and released in 2022. The game is a beat-em-up with challenging combat scenarios and a compelling thematic twist based on a game mechanic that causes players to age up whenever they lose a fight. The mechanic requires careful strategy, as when the player's character ages, they are given access to new powerful moves, but if they get too old, they can die permanently and will have to start the game from the beginning.

Sifu combines elements of time-loop and rogue-like games to create a stunning and addictive fighting game. Its story of revenge can make for an interesting feature film. 87Eleven, Stahelski's production company behind projects such as Atomic Blonde and The Fall Guy,...

Captain America 4 Is a Bigger Hit Than Rotten Tomatoes Suggests, But 3 Major Problems Could Still Doom It
Image
Quick LinksCaptain America 4 Felt Like An Infinity Saga RemnantCaptain America 4 Doesn't Push the Multiverse Saga ForwardCaptain America 4 Is Suffering From Real-World PoliticsCaptain America 4 Had Two Fixes For Success

The following contains spoilers for Captain America: Brave New World, now playing in theaters.

As much as fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe hoped things would go well, Captain America: Brave New World is doing decently at the box office. Notably, the critics aren't as kind, with the Rotten Tomatoes score at fifty percent. It feels like a middling entry, which is disappointing given how movies like The Winter Soldier and Civil War impressed audiences.

Many deemed it clunky and disjointed, to the point that the director, Julius Onah, had to dispute reports that re-shoots affected the movie and the overall narrative. Admittedly, it does feel like it was doomed from the start. However, Marvel Studios had some simple solutions to avoid this,...

‘The Gorge’ Movie Ending Explained And Sequel/Prequel Theories
Image
The Gorge’s ending was all about Levi and Drasa trying to survive the horrors that existed in the town at the bottom of the titular chasm. Hired by a mysterious company called Darklake, Levi was stationed at the West Tower and Drasa at the East Tower, which were located on opposite sides of a seemingly bottomless ravine. They were told to not contact each other no matter what happened and only report back to HQ via radio on a daily basis about whether they had restocked all the weapons around the abyss and checked if the cloaking devices were working fine or not. What were those weapons and cloaking devices for? To keep these grotesque-looking humanoid creatures from getting out of the hole they were in and terrorizing human civilization. Although the nature of the job was strenuous and life-threatening, Levi and Drasa struck a chord and met each other.

Is Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives The Reason For ABC Pausing The Bachelorette?
Image
Rachel Recchia spilled secrets on The Bachelorette. She teased the real reason for ABC’s decision to halt production. The network could be exploring Hulu’s hit reality series, Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

Spilling The Tea

Recchia didn’t hold back on the Almost Famous podcast with Ashley Iaconetti. She shared that ABC already had a lead in mind for The Bachelorette and that their decision “made sense.” But Recchia wouldn’t reveal who it was since she’s under contract with the franchise. However, the producers decided to pull the show from the 2025 lineup. At first, it was assumed that the decision was due to increased competition from other dating shows.

But it looks like the network wants to explore the success of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. The original series explores the swinging scandal that haunted a Mormon mom group on TikTok. The docuseries broke records when it debuted on Hulu.

10 Greatest Directors Who Have Helmed Stephen King Films, Ranked
Image
Films have been adapting books for decades, long before Stephen King made his debut with Carrie in 1974. However, cinema wasted no time adapting King's first novel and every novel that would come after it. Nobody could have known just how prolific an author King would become, but many of his initial books were hits that had studios salivating to adapt his work. With that came an amazing track record of early King adaptations that continued well into the '90s.

Even after that initial run, every new Stephen King book is bound to get adapted one way or another, and they are all relatively solid adaptations apart from a few. What still remains incredible is the string of directors that have been attached to Stephen King's films. From Cronenberg to Flanagan, A-List directors in each decade seemed to have adapted a King book at one point or another, and some...

'We Had to Slow Down': Armor Wars Movie Gets Disappointing Update From MCU Producer
Image
It's a bad day to be a War Machine fan. The fan-favorite superhero's solo movie, Armor Wars, has just been hit with an unfortunate update by outgoing Marvel Studios producer Nate Moore.

In a recent interview with Collider to promote Captain America: Brave New World, Moore — who is departing Marvel Studios to focus on non-Marvel projects — shared that he wasn't quite sure what was going on with Armor Wars, but that it had been put on the back burner for the time being. "You know, that’s not my project, to be honest. But, I do know, as Marvel [Studios] continues to go through this phase, we want to make sure whatever we’re making is awesome. So that means we had to slow down some things that were on the front burner," he explained. "It doesn't mean we'll never make it, but it does mean we just have to be...

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man Showrunner Breaks Down Episode 4's Big Harry Osborn Twist - Spoilers
Image
In the fourth episode of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Peter Parker dons a costume made for him by Norman Osborn. His white Oscorp suit proves a hit but, when the teenager returns to Oscorp to thank his mentor, he inadvertently unmasks in front of Harry Osborn.

The McU's Spider-Man didn't guard his secret identity as closely as some fans would like, though this Variant at least seems to be trying to stop those closest to him from finding out he's a superhero.

Talking to Screen Rant, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man showrunner Jeff Trammell explained why Harry discovered Peter's big secret and how that's likely to play into their relationship moving forward.

"I think there's a part of it where it's really fun to delve into Norman as a mentor, but Norman as a mentor can't kind of be like your day-to-day guy because he is so busy, it would be a detriment to Oscorp.

Marvel Denies Using AI in 'Fantastic Four: First Steps' Posters Following Controversy
Image
That didn't take long. Within hours of receiving backlash for the alleged use of AI in posters for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Marvel Studios released a statement denying any AI was used. Many users on social media sites like X and Bluesky took notice of one poster released for The Fantastic Four: First Steps that featured two of the same people in a crowd shot and one person having four fingers instead of five. These types of mistakes are common in AI-generated artwork, which led to speculation that the posters were AI-generated, or that at least some AI-generated artwork was used in Marvel and Disney's official marketing.

This potential revelation truly soured the positive reaction to the first teaser trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps. In response, a Marvel spokesperson told The Wrap that "AI was not used in the creation of these posters." The studio did not...

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Posters Prove Controversial Amid Accusations Of AI Usage - Marvel Responds
Image
Like most things these days, AI is incredibly divisive...particularly in Hollywood. Some see it as the future of filmmaking, while others argue it's taking the jobs of real creatives and robbing movies of originality.

The truth is, most regular moviegoers probably don't care and it's that studios are likely banking on when it comes to any social media backlash they might face.

Earlier today, Marvel Studios released four posters for The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Their design was unique but some were quick to argue they had telltale signs of AI usage (the fact no one could agree whether that was the case shows just how far the technology has come).

The post below, for example, appears to show people with four fingers instead of five and two women with the same face. Bad Photoshop or AI? The Wrap reached out to Marvel and explained, "Despite what many suspected,...
