A very surreal moment occurred during the filming in a classroom scene on USC campus. There was an LAPD and SWAT search for a gunman on the USC campus after gunshots were fired. Helicopters flying overhead, sirens blaring. Michael Wayne James walked out into the hallway from where he was filming to see what this was all about. Two LAPD officers came walking down the hallway from opposite ends toward him. His heart started pounding because he had a prop gun holstered on his belt. He put his arms in the air and shouted out. "Prop gun! We are filming!" The officers held their guns on him until they were able to secure the weapon and assure it was safe. This was a very surreal moment due to the fact. That the story line was about gun control and prevention of violence on school campuses.
