Doug Kiker, best known for his memorable audition in Season 18 of American Idol, has died. He was just 32 years old.

Though an official cause of death has not been released, Kiker’s ex-fiancée Valerie Cook confirms to TMZ that he died on Monday, March 10.

Owen Wilson is taking to the golf course for the upcoming sports comedy Stick, which has received a first-look ahead of its June 4 release on Apple TV+. The streaming service is teeing the series up for a debut that will see three episodes drop at once, followed by one new episode every Wednesday until the 10th and final episode releases on July 23.

The images (seen below) reveal Wilson's character, Pryce Cahill, "an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer" whose career "derailed prematurely 20 years ago" (per Apple TV+). In the show, he returns to the green to mentor Santi, "a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom," played by Peter Dager. According to the show's official synopsis, Cahill's mentorship role comes at a turbulent time in his life as his marriage has broken down, and he also now finds himself unemployed after being fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store.

Variety has revealed that the Green Day-inspired comedy flick, New Years Rev has added four members to its cast — and it’s quite a mix of names. The latest quartet to add their talents to the Lee Kirk-helmed production are Mckenna Grace (Scream 7), Fred Armisen (Portlandia), Bobby Lee (Reservation Dogs) and Sean Gunn (Gilmore Girls). The four newbies add their names to a cast that will be led by Mason Thames (The Black Phone), Kylr Coffman (Major Crimes) and Ryan Foust (Marry Me). Other members of the growing ensemble include everyone’s favorite The Office podcasting duo, Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, as well as Ignacio Diaz-Silverio (A Good Person) and Keen Ruffalo (Thor: Ragnarok).

Peacock has won the rights to develop Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas’ upcoming novel “Climbing in Heels” into a TV series, Variety has learned.

Peacock has given the drama project a script-to-series commitment. It was first reported in December that Universal TV was taking the show to market, with Goldsmith-Thomas and Darren Star set to serve as co-writers and executive producers.

“I am thrilled that ‘Climbing In Heels’ was taken off the table so quickly by Peacock,” Goldsmith-Thomas said. “It is the perfect home for Darren and I to bring these fabulously complicated and colorful characters to life”

Lopez and Ted Lasso standout Brett Goldstein are set to star in the Netflix rom-com Office Romance, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Goldstein is writing the script with Joe Kelly. Plot details have not been shared, and a director is not yet attached.

Earlier this year, Lopez starred in director Brad Peyton’s Netflix sci-fi flick Atlas, opposite Simu Liu and Sterling K. Brown. Prior to that, she led the streamer’s 2023 action film The Mother for director Niki Caro.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are divorcing after just over two years of marriage. Lopez filed on Tuesday, August 20, in L.A. County Superior Court, Variety confirms. The official separation date is listed as April 26.

Lopez, 55, and Affleck, 52, married in Las Vegas in July 2022 after re-sparking their relationship from two decades prior, which was dubbed “Bennifer” by tabloid publications at the time and was a fixation of their coverage in the early 2000s.

The two tied the knot again in a large ceremony in Georgia on August 20, 2022 — exactly two years ago.

Lopez and Affleck made two films together: Martin Brest’s largely reviled romantic caper “Gigli” in 2003 and Kevin Smith’s comedy “Jersey Girl” in 2004. By the time the latter feature hit theaters, Lopez and Affleck had called off their engagement and gone their separate ways.

Both got married and divorced in the intervening years — Lopez to Marc Anthony, Affleck to Jennifer Garner.

Creative partners Adam Pally and David Caspe didn’t anticipate that the “third in the Pally-Caspe trilogy” would star one of the greatest basketball players of all time.

Pally, a dedicated member of his own rec league basketball team, and Caspe, an “enormous basketball fan and even bigger Stephen Curry fan,” could not believe that the four-time NBA champion wanted to work on a show with them.

“I would not be shocked if we just got a phone call Thursday morning when the show’s supposed to premiere. That’s like, ‘Yeah, Stephen decided not to do it,’” Caspe told TheWrap. “I’d be like, ‘That makes sense. God bless him.’”

Derulo recounted the incident in a candid interview on the I Am Paris podcast. “I had this tour set up — it was the biggest tour of my life at that point.”
