I really enjoy this film and fulled touched by director's portrayal of Ma Shan. This born-different young man tries to escape and rebel at the beginning, turns to be "different and proud" at the end. A true hero is born when Ma Shan bravely leads the third team to complete the final mission. It's very burning and empathic. The Chinese-style "father-son love" between Ma Shan and Cao Guouncle is also very delicate and moving.

I have learned how hard the production and post production of this film is. I admire Director Lu Chuan's exploration and persistence in science fiction film production standards and international collaborations.
