Emma has a conversation with Jimmy, and has perhaps found a somewhat unexpected ally, she needs all the friends she can get, she later had an uncomfortable encounter with Phil.
I've got to be honest, I've been a fan of the show so far, but this episode had me utterly baffled, I really did struggle to understand what was happening, some of the characters are behaving so very strangely, it's normal in a TV drama for one or two to act up or misbehave, but suddenly now they're all at it, is Emma the only person who isn't suspicious in Dundee?
I'm a little disappointing with some of the acting, it's a little weak in parts, just watch Vincent Regan and Martin Compston, the pair of them are streets ahead of the others, way more convincing.
They're all talking about the Mook, but haven't once explained what it is, is it a computer program of some sort?
The ending was very dramatic, and Regan was excellent, but what on Earth was she doing there? It made no sense at all.
I'm really sorry, but I thought this was very poor. 4/10. Give us some more info.

The two stories that both have Emma has a link continue.
The police look at the forensics on the bed that they took away and taken in more people for questioning regarding Emma's mother.
Daniel wants to plead guilty to the fire in the nightclub. He thinks this will protect his father Phil.
It seems rather naive of Daniel and his lawyer senses this.
When Phil, Daniel and Emma had dinner, I just knew there would be a development. It happened when Phil met Emma on her own.
One thing that made me groan was the possible linking of the two stories. It is a staple of these kind of crime dramas, a cliche even.
It might be a red herring but there was no reason for Phil to act so creepily in that scene. It did lead to a literal white knuckle ending and finally Traces seem to be simmering.
