Even at 7 minutes manages to be both turgid and dishonest

I'm wasn't a Trump voter, but I have to say this film manages with its use of dishonestly cut sound bites that misrepresent what he said, to be as much of a problem as anything it accuses Trump of.

For example when Trump talked about stopping Muslim immigration he was referring to seven specific countries, not the 40 other Muslim majority countries, and he was saying until a workable system of vetting for those seven countries could be implemented

Why is this important? Obama himself, by executive order, severely limited immigration from those virtually exact same countries. Why? Because of either a) the counties in question had no working law enforcement, bio-metrics on their ID papers, sharing of criminal or terrorist records, or were outright adversarial (Iran). So for a specific set of countries, that both Obama limited severely, and Trump simply up'ed the limitations, we have no way of knowing if the people coming were who their papers said they were, if they had violent crime records, terrorist records, or are who they say they are etc. That was made clear with the Paris attacks where some of the attackers, including the organizer, came into Europe on FORGED Syrian ID documents. (See wall street journal: "Paris Stadium Attacker Got to Europe Using Fake Syrian Passport")

For this film to you out of context soudbites, with the clarifying phrases removed is frankly mendacious and pathetic. 90% of Muslims in the world live in countries UNAFFECTED by Trumps increased vetting. So to claim he was profiling all Muslims in nonsense. He was refering to counties where someone on the FBI or CIA terrorism watch list can easily get a passport on the black market and were local law enforcement can't or don't cooperate with Us immigration authorities.

As far as the ending, implying violence against american civilians is justified, that is just sick. We know the pathologies of these terrorists and that is NOT what drives them. The more tolerant a country is the more likely it is to see terrorist attacks by Islamist fanatics
