Camille Logan is determined to be more than the spoiled heiress and daddy's girl that everyone sees. After fighting hard to be independent and happy, she finds her life threatened as a result of one of her father's business deals. Camille isn't prepared for the length her father will go to protect her, or for the man he hires to do the job. Jake Sharp resides in his own personal hell. Accepting the job of bodyguard to Camille isn't the kind of distraction from his demons that he should take. He soon discovers that she isn't the woman she's perceived to be. She's warm and compassionate and soon his duty goes deeper than a well-paid job. He needs absolution. He comes to need Camille. But he knows he can't have both.

Remind me of Nicholas Cage's kind of movie.

Predictable story, is like written by Bollywood writer. Bad acting, cheesy story lines, cheesy sex acts just full of cheap cheeses 🐭 🧀 . I think in real, the body guard is a dangerous man, over possesive too. Giving this movie 4 out of 10.

Bodyguard romance story

The Protector is one of Jodi Ellen Malpas books I really liked, this adaptation was very good, the casting was good and the soundtrack was fantastic. The story brought to screen was in general there, however something was missing for me from the book, the details are there and the hot scenes, it felt a bit rushed, I know is hard to fit a whole book into just minutes on screen, but definitely it's still a movie to pass a good time and a way for you to introduce you to the book.

Very enjoyable.

I liked this movie a lot. It had just enough action and plenty of steamy romance. The leads are wonderful and had hot chemistry.

Fantastic book- poor movie

So disappointed. One of my favourite authors and I love this story but the film was so dull. Did not capture any of the spirit of the book or the essence of that characters.

So disappointed had the potential to be an amazing film.
