This film explores self-discovery and empowerment in a compelling way. Having struggled with her identity as a housewife, Kirana was previously a self-assured student. The fortune card and the high school reunion provide her a beautiful new life, but she quickly learns that without her family, success means little. Kirana's inner turmoil is poignantly shown in the performances. A must-watch, "If I Were You" serves as a lovely reminder that genuine fulfillment originates from within and the relationships we value.
Rumput Tetangga is a lighthearted dramedy about Kirana, a tired stay-at-home mom who wishes she had chosen a different path. Thanks to a bit of magical twist at her high school reunion, she suddenly finds herself living her dream life: successful, glamorous, and single. But as she enjoys the freedom and luxury, she starts to realize what really matters to her.
The movie is sweet, sometimes funny, and relatable, especially for anyone who's ever wondered "what if." While the story can feel predictable and the fantasy element isn't super deep, the film still delivers a warm message: life always looks greener from the outside, but happiness often comes from what you already have.

A Heartfelt Exploration of Ambition - "If I Were You" offers a touching exploration of ambition and family. Kirana's transformation from a self-doubting housewife to a successful PR consultant is both uplifting and thought-provoking. The film cleverly uses the high school reunion as a backdrop for Kirana's journey, highlighting her longing for validation. While she enjoys her newfound power, the film emphasizes that true fulfillment comes from her relationships. The emotional depth and relatable themes make this film a must-see for anyone navigating their own identity.

If I Were You leads viewers on an emotional quest for self-awareness. Kirana's journey from a self-conscious housewife to a prosperous public relations professional is inspirational and realistic. The high school reunion is a significant event, and the fortune card offers a fascinating twist. As Kirana makes her way through her new existence, she discovers that her family is the source of true happiness. For anybody looking to find inspiration in their own life, the film's emotional depth and relatable topics make it an engaging watch.
If I am not interested in some scene, I usually move a few minutes forward. But this film made me not doing that. Well done. I am a woman and I have suggestion for people who want to watch this movie: If you are a woman wether you are an employee or a housewife, and sometimes you feel tired about your job, this film is very recommended to remind you about your blessings and always be thankful about all you have right now. It is okay to be not okay sometimes, but the most important thing is be thankful because there might be other people who want to be "you" or "your job".
