Each comedian had their moment, but Flame had me in tears of laughter.
The comedians were all unique in their styles but the two who impacted me were the transexual, Flame Monroe and the Spanish lady, Aida Rodriguez. Their jokes were based upon the life they were living. It touched me when they were brutally honest with us. Flame should get her own special or be in a movie with Tyler Perry. Aida could be a main line costar in a movie as well. The other 4 were ok but these two stood out by leaps and bounds.
The first three was good. The last three were not that great. Tracy and Flame was awesome. Aida got better as her routine progressed.Marlo to me was not funny. April and Shaunte had a coupler of funny moments. To be honest Flame and Tracy routines could had been longer. I really enjoyed those two.
This comedy special is extremely funny. Each comedian brings something different. Makes me happy to see Tiffany gave these gals a chance. They are all headliners. If you don't like them, then keep it moving. It's that simple.
I binged in one sitting. Each comic had their own style and something to offer. I read reviews saying particular comics weren't funny, so was expecting it, only to discover I found them as hilarious as those the same reviewers had liked.
So don't believe any one review and watch for yourself.
On a side note, wonderful to see not only that Tiffany gave female/female adjacent comics a chance to shine in a male dominated industry, but that these were talented friends of hers where there was always an understanding that if one of them made it, they would throw a rope back to help the others. Not many ppl would actually do that once they've made it and you can see the gratitude.
I know it's irrelevant to the comedy being funny/successful, but it brings real heart to the series.
