Interesting Way To Pass the Time

Ms. Pribilski is very enthusiastic over BBQ and food generally. I gave the show 7 stars mainly because she is "just so darn cute". One misconception she frequently perpetuates is that she's native Texan. She is actually from Georgia (GOOGLE - Born: December 29, 1990, age 30 years, Augusta, GA) but I imagine she got here as quickly as possible. So, welcome.

Get rid of the host!

The host is horrible! It is very annoying watching her constantly ask for "secret menu items". Why would we want to learn about menu items not normally available? Her personality seems so fake especially in the Austin episode where she seems so surprised about every little thing even though she said she has lived in Austin for 14 years. Please get someone more authentic. You're not doing these wonderful places justice due to the distracting host who only eats one bite of anything then asks for something special.

Houston episode sucked!!

Not a true representation of bbq in Houston.City has much more to offer. Show does not focus enough on the food itself. Could easily add more bbq locations if time was not spent on bs non bbq crap.

The Host Sucks, But the Rest of the Show Ain't Bad

The show is very well shot and informative, but I cannot stand the woman at the helm of the narrative. How did she get this job? I'm a Texas native and bar-b-q lover too, but I don't have Hulu dropping a travel show in my lap. I am not a fan of her attitude. All smiles, no substance. Just enjoy the food, for what it truly is, and stop looking for "secret menu items." It makes you appear as an over-privileged, spoiled brat who isn't grateful for the work that these chefs are already putting in for an opportunity at some free advertising. Rant done. Six stars because the chefs are awesome and the cinematography is on point.
