Roleta

A nervous and rising tension dominates the action of "Roleta Russa" as a frantic man (Ludoval Campos) plays of Russian roulette with a gun after being abandoned by his wife (Duaia Assumpção). His last hope might come if the telephone rings and she says she'll return to him. But as minutes pass by, he keeps remembering all the good moments they had together, and as those mental pictures fade away, it's a click on the trigger.

Despite the predictable mode of it all, it's worth seeing for the thrills it brings and a sense of mystery as we try to find out why she left him.

The back and forth in between sequences is very nerve-wrecking and one can feel aprehensive through the whole experience. A very good short. 8/10.
