    Inspiring and the best

What I like about this show after watching it on the Funimation Channel,it was truly interesting and the best. I really wanted to get this series, and I did. When my cousin bought me this series in a box set for Christmas,it was like watching it on the Funimation Channel again. It was a terrific series, and inspiring. And of course it had an amazing storyline. But what this show really tells us is being number 1 is a tough task, and it takes lots of hard work to achieve it. And also,it doesn't matter if you win or lose,it's how you play the game and do your best. And I also believe that Yamato has learned these lessons, and will always do his best. But however, this series is awesome, and worth watching. And of course Todd Haberkorn (famous for xxxholic),playing the voice of Yamato was his best role ever. So if you want to see something good, then see this series, you will like it.

    A Strange Show

It's a very strange piece of work. On the one hand you're going', "This is, clearly, utter rubbish. EVERYONE's being stupid - even the show's plot is allowing itself to be driven by their stupidity", and on the other you look up at your clock ... AND HALF THE DAY HAS PASSED!

It doesn't amount to much - it's about this kid who likes some girl called Suzuka. there's a bunch o' "pull-n-tug" between them, with drama seeming to appear out of thin air (to aid them in their non-hooking up) and superfluous tangents for the story to go and waste time upon- It doesn't amount to much ... although it makes you think it's going to. One episode after the other, STUFF happens, developing to shake things up and you think all of it's building to something. It doesn't ... and the worst thing is you've figured it all out about half way through the series, you just spend the rest of it wondering if you actually have. In fact you feel somewhat played with at the end - like something has actually invaded your being. You get so hooked into this hypothetical mystery you've created in your head, about where it all could be going, and when you finally realise that it was on the 'Big Fat Nothing' road all along, you're just left feeling shaken.

Now for some strange reason, I didn't know how to feel about that ... and I don't even know why. I wasn't angry with the show for getting the better of me, neither did I admire it for doing so. I just sat and contemplated the aftermath for a bit. I had clearly cared about the series and, for the first time ever (I think), I just couldn't figure out why.

It's actually a bit like this review - despite how it begun, all I seem to have ended up doing is trashing the show. There's no pay off where I actually tell you WHY I liked it ... I mean I guess it just filled a hole or something. I don't know how or why but it just worked on me ... quite damned well in fact.

Not that I'd recommend it to anyone, of course

    Quite interesting

So I just finished watching Suzuka. It wasn't bad per say, it was kind of interesting. I must say, in the beginning I wasn't really feeling the anime just because it was a little "meh" the characters were alright. Towards the ending though, probably the last 6 episodes I was a little more captivated because I'm a huge romantic and I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff. I thought the ending was somewhat satisfying and the soundtracks were pretty good, my favourite has to be "Scars from long ago" because it's honestly so beautiful. If you enjoy romance and want to learn a little more about track and don't mind it being a little cliché go for it!

    I love this anime

When my friend James Hobson recommended this great anime, I was amazed to see how much of a good taste he has. This anime has changed my ,life. I know see anime differently and would like force this culture upon every human being on Earth. I cant deny that I may have popped a few chubs and played with my sin zones. But that is the magic of anime. You cant help but be fascinated by the creators and their amazing work. I love anime and am feeling a force taking over me. I was A small fan but now I feel like I have been transformed in to a wee a boo. I want to say thanks Jimmibob for showing me this life and hope to waste my life on crunchy roll. Suzuka is the best!!

    Good show, Great manga

I give this show a 10/10 because it needs a higher rating than it has. Suzuka while nothing special as an anime, has potentially the best most stunning stories of is genre.

If your interested in the series like I was start by watching the anime. It doesn't have "outstanding" animation or the best voice work, but it'll give you a quick well inspired entrance to the story.

After I finished watching the show I felt let down. It didn't tell me anything that happened afterward! So I read the manga and found myself reading all 166 chapters in 2 days. It had more character development, more story, more insight fullness, and generally more heart than the anime (however after watching the somewhat short anime I got to imagine the way the characters spoke more naturally which helped a lot.). I read through the manga and found myself wanting more and more! I began reading and watching stories similar but, nothing compares to Suzuka in its realism and honesty.

While in the beginning Asahina Suzuka seems like a cold unlovable person in the beginning part of the wonder was watching her slowly open up to everyone and begin to accept herself, her life, and the imperfection of the world around her. This series was by far the best I've seen/read. I've read and watched Love Hina, Ichigo 100%, Ai Ori Ayoshi and many more but I found myself simply comparing them to Suzuka.

Without a doubt I recommend this show to ANYONE who wants to seriously read the manga all the way through. If you don't feel like watching 26 episodes of it. Find where you would be in the manga and keep reading. This story WILL have something you can learn from somewhere in it.

    anime: story = 10/10 characters = 10/10 animation = 7/10 originality = (beginning = 2/10, later = 10/10) music = 10/10 voice work = 8/10

overall = 8/10 (Sorry but I found the animation to be awkward at times.)

    Manga: Story = 12/10 (the story was outstanding) characters = 10/10 artwork = 10/10 originality = (beginning = 2/10, around chapter 12 = 10/10) ending = 10/10 (though I still want more ._.)

overall: 11/10 (AMAZING, Any teenager in a relationship go read this NOW)
