This atrocious film is a visual insult and almost unwatchable...

Feeling worthless? Watch this film and feel better about yourself, for there are people out there who are truly worthless like the people involved in this unworthy "film". Everything about this "movie" is amateurish.

How a human being could have attempted such an abysmal film as "Tortillas Again?" without committing suicide before he had finished the first scene?... it's a mystery.

Making a film this trashy in the 21st Century is inexcusable. Did they used a camcorder to record this shameful film? Seems like the director Paul Ramirez and his crew were completely careless about this project. I'm pretty sure the producer rushed into getting this piece of garbage released so they could have something to brag about in their pathetic lives. The acting was so lousy and mediocre, it was embarrassing and painful to watch. The plot is ridiculous and predictable. The editing is abominable. Sound is abhorrent, you can hear the hiss throughout the movie. Seriously, "Tortillas Again?" is one of the worst films ever made. I hope the creator and the people responsible for this heinous films get banned for life from the industry and from ever attempting to dishonor again this artistic form of expression we called motion pictures.

    Terrible

This movie was absolutely terrible - the longest 72 minutes of my life. I have no idea how anyone involved thought this movie was even worth releasing.

I drove over to a DVD rental kiosk one night to check out the new releases. Nothing looked very interesting and this movie caught my eye since I had never heard of it. I read the description and decided it looked like it had potential and I'm always up for checking out new independent films.

Now I went into this movie with a realistic mindset - to say I didn't expect much is an understatement. I popped in the movie...but I wasn't close to being prepared for the next 72 minutes of torture. I'm not the type of person to turn off a movie or walk out before its over - I'm going to give it a chance until the (in this case) bitter end.

The acting was terrible. Countless lines were flubbed (why couldn't they do another take?) No thought was put into the slow-moving uninteresting scenes. This entire story could have easily been told in 20 minutes. While it would have still been boring...it would have saved me an hour of my life. The movie opens with a silent, pointless 30 seconds of a guy slowly putting on a pair of socks. Just one of many scenes that had me screaming in my head, "WHY?!"

If they only had 2 days to write and film this entire movie I still would have expected more. The only reason I give it a 2 is because I will admit I laughed a couple of times...and I have to leave room for (gulp) a movie that might even be worse (I couldn't even imagine.) I literally found myself cringing at various moments throughout the movie because it was just so painful to watch.

I think there was supposed to be some tired lesson or moral buried somewhere in this film...but there was nothing creative about it and it was a sad attempt indeed.

I'm not saying there's no chance the people involved with this movie could ever make something worth watching...but I would be shocked as they have a very long way to go. It was annoying when they referenced several great independent directors during the movie as if they were somehow on their way to being at a similar level. I can't even describe how happy I was when this movie was over. It really makes you appreciate a good movie.

Without a doubt, one of the worst films ever made...

I rarely write reviews, but I need to get it off my chest. Watching low-budget crappy indie flicks is one of my guilty pleasures, but this film is not even funny to mock, it's just sad. 'Tortillas Again?' has AMATEUR written allover, in addition to a ridiculous title. 'Tortillas Again?' is atrocious, production is repugnant, lacks character development, has an absurd plot, distasteful editing, zero artistic value; hell, even student/YouTube films have better production and are more dedicated in crafting their motion pictures. Everyone involved in this film is talentless in every way possible. I'm not even going to waste my time giving a detailed constructive criticism, for I believe that people involved in this project are too dumb to even comprehend the dimension of their failure; besides, I'm pretty sure whoever was involved in this awful "film" cannot handle any criticism...

What the hell was going through their minds when they were producing and creating this abysmal film? Who the hell thought that this god-awful film was even worth releasing? Producer/editor/director Paul Ramirez and his colossal ego have no love for what they do; Paul Ramirez has no talent, no creativity, no self-respect, and no integrity. Paul Ramirez, for everything that is holy, please stop making films! 'Tortillas Again?' is the anti-film, it's a big middle finger to cinema and to the Lumière brothers. I'm dead serious it's not hyperbolic: TORTILLAS AGAIN? IS ONE OF THE WORST FILMS IN CINEMATIC HISTORY...

    Unbelievably awful!

The movie was awful, pointless, boring and NOT FUNNY AT ALL (at least not intentionally, I admit that I laugh couple of times at how stupid the intro song was). However, I HAD TO STOP THIS PUTRID VOMIT in the middle, took a deep breath and finish watching it whilst chugging my wine bottle, trust me, it was painful to watch; I guess I'm a masochist. I was literally cringing the entire time. I was amazed at how unintelligent the humor was in this crappy film. Tortillas Again? would have been less crappy, yet still really mediocre, if all the characters were replaced with ACTUAL actors or at least people with some acting experience, did the director Paul Ramirez put his family and friends to act? Moreover, cinematographically speaking seems more like a homemade video than an actual film, I know it was filmed in 2006, but I'm pretty sure that they could have rented a decent camera to film it with their alleged $7000 budget. Everything about this film is amateur: the editing is terrible (they didn't gave a damn about continuity), the plot was absurd, and sound was abysmal. I know it was low budget and all, but there is no excuse to make a film this awful. I've seen ultra-low budget indie flicks that managed to make a decent film despite their limited resources, it's called CREATIVITY and TALENT, qualities that people in this productions lacks entirely.

I googled Paul Ramirez, the mastermind behind this project, and apparently he is also a musician and writer, so I checked out his other "art"; his music is not that bad, but his writing is awful! He is one of those authors who never reads, but writes books (go figure). He wrote children books about a Latino Superhero and "role model", Paleta man... that's right, a Mexican Ice Cream vendor with mystic "Aztec Super Powers", whatever those are. Anyway, seems like Paul Ramirez is already a talentless director and a mediocre writer, why not stick to music? In conclusion, Toritllas Again? has absolutely no humor whatsoever, a cast of amateur actors, and one really terrible director (Paul Ramirez). This "film" is a contender for one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

    Awful

This movie was a piece of crap, literally, I mean everything about this film is awful. "Tortillas Again?" is absolutely horrible as far as films go, whether you prefer Mexican-American indie films or otherwise. First of all, the cinematography is atrocious: it looks like a homemade film on a public access channel. The acting is odious. Seem like the editing was made using old Windows Movie Maker or Power Point. Overall, the film is pathetic. Damn, I think "Gigly" or any community college student film is way better than this repulsive film. Director/Editor Paul Ramirez should definitely change career path. In conclusion, Tortillas Again? is the worst film I've ever seen.
