This Could Not Have Been Made By Accident!

This was deliberately made to be totally ridiculous and lousy crap.

At least you will get a few laughs, but be sure not to waste your time watching all the talk scenes...just FORWARD through most of the movie and enjoy the crumbs of nothingness that somehow made me laugh.

The Very First Clue was the title: TRANSMORPHERS .... not TRANSFORMERS! I am seriously contemplating doing a movie with the title: TRANSSMURFERS! NOT! Doubt the owners of The Smurfs would let me.

If you do not pay close attention you would easily fail to see the spelling difference! Also, beware of the flashing scenes: I almost got convulsions! The second clue was when the intro says that we discovered a planet with life over 20 million light years away! Any adult with the even the most rudimentary science education should know that our own Milky Way Galaxy is only roughly 100,000 Light Years across (diameter)! And the furthest detectable planets are well within 100 Light Years distance.

As for the acting: what acting?!? I cannot for the life of me imagine that the thespians in this movie were not aware of the impossibility of accidentally making such a lousy, everything-did-go-wrong (-NOT!) movie! I've seen Trekkies make better stuff on a budget of less than $500.

Can you have a MINUS rating?

PUBLIC NOTICE! "TRANSMORPHERS has been renamed, "TRANSGARBAGE" - Like most, if not everyone else, I thought I was buying THE MOVIE "TRANSFORMERS". No doubt that was Leigh Scott's idea!!! A sucker born every minute! Please, please tell me that this was a "home made movie"; I'll feel better about it, as I cannot believe ANYONE in the movie business is capable of such sheer lack of ability. Even as a home made movie it would be bad. And the 'acting', well, when you can't act, 'act' in a Leigh Scott 'movie'. If I made this 'movie' or 'acted' in it, I would hide my shame by becoming a recluse. Mr Scott, Pizza Hut are looking for delivery boys, bet you can do that. Hhhmmm, then again .......

    oh man

low budget doesn't mean bad movie and there are numerous examples to prove it. but movie maker has to have an idea or at least try to be original and creative. this movie "borrows" all the lamest Hollywood clichés and puts them into zero budget project without adding any shred of originality. so even tho the low budget doesn't mean bad movie, bad acting, bad script, bad directing and bad technical production do. and this is probably the worst movie i have seen in a long time. one good point was the fact that futuristic society was governed by women. if they had machine guns instead of plastic toys and were half-naked this movie would be watchable. this way it just hopes to cash few bucks transmorphing incoming transformers title. bad.

is there such a thing as a "C" movie

I've read all the remarks made so far and the only thing that I can say is that they're all right. I'm a sci-fi fan, but to classify this movie as a sci-fi would be an insult to the genre. If I found this movie in a bargain-bin for $1.99 I still wouldn't buy it. I can't comment on the music track because I was so absorbed by the bad, bad, bad acting, that I don't even remember hearing it.

Very simply put, this movie just plain sucks.

The only thing I have an issue with is comparing the acting in this movie to that of Starship Troopers. That's being really insulting to Starship Troopers.

I don't ever comment on movies I've seen, whether I liked them or not, because I know we all have different tastes, but I just couldn't let this one go. I could find absolutely no redeeming qualities in this movie. If there were such a class as a "C" movie, that's where I'd put this one.

    very disappointing

I only stumbled onto this movie after having mistaken it for "Transformers". That was disappointment number one. Well, being the sci-fi fan I am, I saw it through anyhow.

The acting was poor, though about what I had expected. Like the acting in Starship Troopers but with less memorable faces.

The plot had potential, but turned out to be a bad Matrix Revolutions rip off.

Most disappointing of all was the graphics. The special effects throughout the movie were simply horrible. Way below par anything you would expect to see today. It would have looked amateur 15 years ago.

I don't recommend taking this one on sober.
