Gabrielle behind the wheel

Gabrielle wants to learn to drive, so George takes her out, unfortunately she crashes into The Chief Constable's car.

It's a nice character study, but it's one of the lesser funny episodes, George once again tries to pull one over on Gabrielle, and of course he comes a cropper. Very nicely acted as always, the performances are fine.

It doesn't have a run of funny scenes like the previous episode, or indeed some of the cutting wit we've come to expect, but still it's a fine watch.
