The Reunion

Gabrielle prepares for her Squadron reunion, getting her medals clean, her uniform ready and shares her stories.

This is my favourite episode of George and The Dragon, it may not be the funniest of the lot, but it's incredibly poignant, the War was twenty years past by now, but still in the minds and memories of most people.

There'ss a beautiful scene where The Colonel recounts his wartime story, The Christmas Eve medal swap with the enemy, it's a fabulous moment, as is the closing scene where Gabby nods off to Vera Lynn, some powerful images.

It's starting to get more risque, with double entendres galore, Gabrielle stating, 'I'm having it in the lounge.'

I love the new opening credits, they're so much more suitable for the show, all singing and dancing, with fun characters, it really does feel like a fresh start to the series.

I loved it. 10/10
