    Interesting Poses By The Ladies

Johnny Downs sings the title song dressed in cap and gown to a "glee club" of pretty women. He finally settles on a duet with Bonnie Kildare in this visually provocative soundie--- although her dress covers her legs, one young woman has her legs spread alarmingly.

A soundie was a 3-minute video meant to be played on a device called a Mills Panaram. From about 1940 through 1946, you might find this device in bars, night clubs, and other places a regular juke box could show up. Drop in a dime and you got one soundie out of ten. Most of them were musical, although there were comedy and even acrobatic ones.

It's well performed, but this doesn't look like a standard issue from Mills, who produced more than two thousand of them.
