Cheetah: Race Against Time

Cheetah shows and documentaries are constantly gushing about how fast and athletic cheetahs are and yet they all refuse to show cheetahs running in real-time, which is the only way to properly appreciate their actual speed.

"Cheetah: Race Against Time" was particularly egregious in this respect. I was seriously angry watching the movie because the narrator kept commenting on how cheetahs are awesomely fast and it's so marvelous for the kids to see how fast they are and how it was a once in a lifetime thing to see, and the cameraman was like, "oh my gosh, that was amazing" when the cheetahs ran by him, and yet, EVERY SINGLE scene of the cheetahs running was in SLO-MO! How am I supposed to tell how fast they're going if it's in SLO-MO, freakin' stupid director. I'm seriously angry, and after posting this comment, I'm gonna look for the director's contact info to send him an angry message.

Because of this movie, and it's constant use of slow motion, I am now against cheetahs and will not support any kind of cheetah conservation effort.
