Little Things Mean a lot

Just like the title of that old song that the recently deceased Kitty Kallen sang, an old lighthouse keeper on the Maine coast must have had a lot of time on his hands to do what he did.

Upon his death a the lighthouse keeper left an unusual will bequeathing several inconsequential objects to various legatees that didn't know him because he was just part of the scenery of their lives. But they turn out to have some meaning for those who inherit them and do bring back good memories of bygone days.

A lovely gesture by a man who really had a lot of time on his hands and a lot of lonely hours spent with his wife in that lighthouse.

I'm not buying it.
