Before You Walk Out....

Bobby Burns is hired as the property man of the theater to work for Walter Stull. This means all the heavy lifting, including and especially the visiting artists' baggage and luggage. These have to be hoisted up stairs that disappear like the trick stairs at a fun fair.

There is a lot of acrobatic stuntwork on display in this episode of the Pokes & Jabbs series that Burns and Stull starred in at this point in their careers. Unfortunately, it's hard to judge the excellence of their work, because it looks like it was transferred at too low a speed, showing off the exaggerated gestures that would vanish at a higher cranking speed.
