This is a nice rom com spoken in Korean and English tailor made for the cast. Uhm Jung Hwa is a good actress and speaks English well. She makes her character sympathetic. Daniel Henney sometimes look he is posing but he is just right for the role. It is funny in a surprising way.
Well, "perfect" is a bit much. In looks, definitely a 9. 9½, perhaps.
From the moment this movie began, I got Pretty Woman-vibes. Yes, even before the plot was revealed. And then I was justified, even down to the female-love interest being paid by the male-half. Though...not as a prostitute.
Super-strict President of a worldwide-based firm travels from USA to Korea to settle a deal and in the meantime, he gives harsh/realistic love advice to his assigned assistant. Will they/won't they before he has to travel back home?
While NOWHERE near as good as Pretty Woman, it still has its charms and chemistry between the leads. It's also not as deep or funny, but I did laugh at times. It's cute and harmless, except for the length. A good 15 repetitive minutes could've been cut. Especially several unnecessary/redundant subplots that were just more roadblocks for their romance.
I liked it and would recommend it. Seen better, but seeing the absolute Henney Hunk for nearly 2 hours was something I wouldn't mind seeing again.
***
Final Thoughts: This was SOOO close to the Julia Roberts Romcom, the title character was literally channeling Richard Gere. If I didn't already know Asian actor Daniel Henney was born in the USA and spoke all his own mostly-in-English dialogue, I'd swore it was dubbed over by Richard Gere. They both sound exactly the same and even share the same mannerisms.

Korean movies has made a stellar rise in quality in the 21st century much like the way Hong Kong movies did in the '80s. This movie is one of the best example of these excellent Korean movies.
A very likely story of a girl going through love troubles, and a very unlikely story of her getting involved with the head of her company comprises the plot of this funny, and very well made movie. The movie has drama, comedy, romance, and good acting. Production is super clean and each scene has opulence to it.
The drama, and romance is as good or better than any Hollywood movies produced. It's envious that people of Korea can contemplate on making a movie with romance like this.
This movie is a must see if you are an Asian drama, or a romantic comedy fan.

"Min Jun" (Jeong-hwa Eom) is preoccupied while driving on her way to work one morning and accidentally rear-ends the car in front of her which is stopped at a red light. When the driver, "Robin Heiden" (Daniel Henney) gets out to collect her insurance information Min Jun (aka "June") pretends not to be able to speak English. As luck would have it Robin sees through her ploy and after obtaining the necessary information continues on his way. That same morning June is taken to meet the new manager of the conglomerate in which she works and it turns out that her new boss is-Robin Heiden. Obviously, it's just not her day--and things are about to become even worse. Now rather than give away any more of the story and risk ruining the film for those who haven't seen it I will just say that this was a pretty good Korean romantic-comedy. I especially liked the performance of Miss Jeong-hwa Eom who was both funny and adorable as well. In any case, provided a person doesn't mind watching a film in another language with English subtitles then this is a fine addition to the rom-com genre and definitely worth the time spent. Above average.
I had never heard of this film. This film kinda reminded me of He Is Not That Into You. Like in that movie(HINTIY), Min-jun is not relationship savvy. She tries her best, but the harder she tries, it just seems to push them away. In comes Mr Robin Heiden who is not so nice in giving her unwanted advice in all things she is doing wrong. I found this film funny, tender and the romance sprinkled through out the film in such a perfect way that each time those moments came, they took my breath away. I suggest that someone please write something more current for Daniel Henney(playing Robin Heiden in the film, he is such a delight to watch. I couldn't wait for this film to be over, just so that I could see it again ;-P
