excellent, better than the lord of the ring! as story, as budget, i hope next part will have more. it has a friendly dragon, as i always thought about dragons, as the man best friend! :) i loved the movie! I can barley wait for the next part! ............. you will be enchanted by the story, so don't be silly, do not believe lord of the ring is the best! "Eragon" is better, an less scary for your kids, more interesting for you. I remember, all the stories my grandpa used to tell me........... for those who have seen the cartoon with the 3 dragons .. I don't remember the name, and not exactly the content, but anyway have seen it, this movie will be a "always wanted to see", it is like i was expecting this movie for all my life. Do u remember "never ending story" ? mix it with lord of the rings, ad all the stories from your childhood, and there you are! The perfect movie for you! I loved this movie I want to be continued, i saw not so many votes, and not all good! and i was sorry. maybe it is not the best move for all of you, but for some people it is! i can barely wait the next part!
I've been playing video games since 1991, so I met several titles - good and bad, too. But there hasn't been such a worst and ugly game like this. Oh, I was wrong: it's not a game. It's a marketing product what's made to promote the Book and the bad movie. And I hate when "brilliant" people try to 'steal' the money of people using a famous product. After it let's see the game itself! I cannot play with it... Why? Because there were so many bugs. For Example Eragon stacked in a bridge, and I could not make him moving. The levels (how dare they make levels in the 21th century???) were linear, the enemies were stupid (stupid? A piece of sh*t has got more intelligence. ), the fighting and 'rpg' system were boring. If someone want to play a little before bed I advise he/she to buy LotR: RotK game. So forget it! It's not a game. If you hit yourself with a scourge it can be much more fun than Eragon 'game'. 1/10
Xbox 360's achievement point system is both a blessing and curse. When you become addicted you can find great games that normally you wouldn't have given a chance. On the flip side you also play a lot of fairly awful games, This cheaply made movie cash in being squarely in the latter category. A lackluster storyline, awful static camera (it's fixed, and you can't control it at all), VERY limited replayability, and it being so damn easy all combine in a sea of banality that you'll dislike as much as I. Definitely not worth a buy and barely worth a rent (due to the aforementioned achievement points, which are beating the game on normal, hard, and finding the one secret egg per level). It may not be E.T landfill bad, but it's close. I got 1,000 out of 1,000 easy points from the 'game' but lost a piece of my sanity.
My Grade: D-
My total 360 Gamerscore: 47226 out of a possible 84270

The game Eragon, which recreates the events of the film and the novel of the same name by Christopher Paolini, offers players the chance to immerse themselves in a magical world of dragons, magic, and heroic adventures. Despite being released quite some time ago, the graphics, for its time, were quite impressive. At the time of its release, the game had a solid visual design: environments, characters, and especially the dragons looked quite stunning. Players could feel the atmosphere of the fantastical world where the events take place, thanks to the quality of the graphics, which satisfied fans of the genre back then.
However, like many games of that era, the controls in Eragon weren't always perfect. At times, they could be a bit awkward or not as intuitive as one would hope. This was especially true for character movements or certain combat combinations, which could sometimes be challenging for players. Despite these issues, they didn't critically affect the overall experience, as other aspects of the game compensated for these shortcomings. For instance, one of the most appealing elements of the game is its combat system. It features well-thought-out mechanics, making battles engaging and dynamic. Players can use a variety of attacks and spells, which adds strategic depth and variety to the gameplay.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of Eragon is that the game offers the ability to control a dragon during certain missions. This feature adds a special charm to the game, as flying a dragon and engaging in aerial combat is always an exciting gameplay experience. The dragon controls are designed to be simple and user-friendly, allowing even newcomers to quickly adapt and enjoy flying. This mechanic is one of the game's strongest points, as not many games of that time offered such an experience, making Eragon particularly appealing to fantasy enthusiasts.
Playing Eragon, the player gets to feel like part of a vast world filled with magic, battles, and legendary creatures. The game as a whole does a good job of capturing the spirit of the novel and the film, though some parts of the story were shortened or changed. This is understandable, given the limitations of video games, which can't always include all the details of the original works. Nevertheless, despite these adjustments, the game manages to convey the key moments of the story, allowing players to immerse themselves in the adventures of Eragon and his dragon, Saphira.
When it comes to voice acting and sound design, the game also performs reasonably well. The music and sound effects complement the game's atmosphere, making battles and other moments even more thrilling. The character voice acting is done at a decent level, adding emotional depth to the game. The voices of the key characters are particularly well-delivered, helping players immerse themselves in the plot and feel the tension and emotions the characters are experiencing.
Despite some technical shortcomings, Eragon remains an interesting game, especially for those who are fans of the film or the book of the same name. It offers the chance to relive the events of a beloved story, this time as an active participant. Although the game did not achieve classic status or become revolutionary, it left positive impressions on many players, thanks to its unique mechanics and the ability to control a dragon.
Overall, Eragon is a game that, despite its flaws, is still worth attention, especially among fans of fantasy adventures. With its engaging combat system, exciting dragon-flying mechanics, and atmosphere that captures the spirit of the book and film, it can become a pleasant addition to any fantasy fan's game collection.
