The subject of this episode concerns hard core pedophiles being murdered in front of a camera, beaten to death. At issue for the audience is that these people are the scum of the earth. The problem is the sampling is so huge that narrowing them down is difficult. In a subplot, NASA pulls Larry's trip to the space station due to his eccentricities. But there is a kicker.
This episode involves the deaths of men in empty houses that have been listed by real estate agents. They have been brutally beaten and tied to chairs. Investigation reveals that these men have been using the internet for pedophilia. It is an arduous process to find the murderer because of the despicable behavior of the victims, but the FBI does its job. If there is a down side to the episode, it is how the men were killed and by whom.

- TriviaThe plot device of Larry being selected to go into space was conceived as a way of explaining his character's absence while actor Peter MacNicol was busy with a role on the sixth season of 24 heures chrono (2001). His character later returns to Earth and reappears for one episode (The Art of Reckoning (2007)), then retreats to a monastery and is absent for the rest of the season.
- GoofsAt the end when when they are watching the space shuttle launch on TV, you can hear the announcer say "Liftoff Challenger making its way to the International Space Station....". The Space Shuttle Challenger was destroyed in an accident in 1986 and this occurred in 2006, so this could not be the Shuttle Challenger.
