The camcorder which Elmo is shown with throughout the video is the exact same one he uses to project home videos at the end of some Elmo's World segments. Since the viewer screen is small, it seems to resemble a Samsung SCL610 Hi8 camcorder. However, since it is square in the front, it also seemingly resembles a Canon ES8400V Hi8 camcorder. Although, it also appears to resemble a Sony Handycam CCD-TR81 Hi8 camcorder as well, due to the eyepiece being mounted on the side of the camcorder and the microphone being displayed above the lens (but with the lens directly under the microphone instead of being off-center to the right), or maybe even a VHS-C camcorder (such as a Panasonic PV-L650 Palmcorder) for the same reasons, and also since it is semi-oval shaped and the eyepiece is square. However, whenever the screen focuses when Elmo is about to record kids singing, the screen appears divided into pixels, so therefore, it is obviously to a digital camcorder (such as a DV camcorder.) However, it appears light blue on the front and on the left and right sides, which does not appear on any of these models.
