Brian Posehn was unaware that his character Brian was gay until halfway through shooting this episode. He presumed that Brian and Steve were just roommates.

Goofs
While Steve is playing Halo 2 (2004) his dialogue indicates he is playing some kind of online multiplayer match. However, the visuals are from the first campaign level making the dialogue completely irrelevant to the situation at hand.
