Its really sad at the end nothing can be changed, but i love how someone's present can really change how somebody see their life

while watching movies, sometimes people cry when they have seen something relate to them is suffering or being misjudged. well, here is a surprise for all of you whoever think in that way. here you will meet a murderer waiting for execution and a sweet suicidal girl who will give you 2 magnificent hour. even if you think this two character is not relate to you, if you have a good heart, take some tissue paper with you while watching. here you may not cry for any death. you may cry at love, happiness. this movie worth that some tear drops which you may going to lose.

Definitely a 10/10.

I do not write many reviews but there are not many reviews for this awesome movie. Maundy Thursday is a religious term, and this movie touches on some religious context.(Note:Do NOT avoid watching this movie just because you may despise religion, it is still a great movie and it does not contain too much religious aspects anyway). The movie literally translates to "Our Happy Time" and the title really gives meaning to the movie. This movie is a total tearjerker and one of the biggest tearjerkers I have ever seen. The cast was awesome all around. The two main actors both portray their characters very nicely and did an awesome job. The director did an amazing job as well with the camera angles; It made a huge impact. The soundtrack was perfect as well which I consider one of the most important aspects of a movie. This movie is the romantic relationship between two people who meet together in a rather odd way which leads to a very melodramatic storyline. This movie was not too melodramatic but just enough that it was just spot on. The buildup of the movie is great as well.

Highly recommended.

Our Happy Time, or maundy thusday, is a movie that brings tears, if I have to put it simply.

Having read the book and the manga, I knew what I was getting into. Though the movie present things in a faster pace and the two didn't really have time to develop a relationship, a factor that made me doubt for a moment that the ending will be that teary, the final scenes were so powerfull that made up for the lack of time and development. Actually, love story set aside, that scene was so deeply humane that can't help but be sad, tragic and dark at the same time.

So, that said, the performances were great and that aided the film a lot.

So, seven out of ten.
